@YourLieutenantKubi he is def annoying to deal with and a lot of players don't really know how to approach him, some characters straight up have not many good options to begin with, like Iron Giant. He lacks Kill moves though so it's a spacing game, he is THE Zoner in the game. Is my assessment correct?
The only difference is only being able to use neutral special half the time. I'm in like, top 80k. He's very good against shaggy for some reason that I'm too lazy to investigate on.
Xion could really benefit from Hangry Man. He already doesn't use sandwich much, so he doesn't have to change his game plan much and gets more perk value.
I'm new to reindog but my first few matches taught me he is decent but takes some getting used to, his ariel roll combos into shit if you do it right and I've spiked people with a charged down hit with his tail on the ground.
"The biggest thing is, you want to try to keep Shaggy away." Proceeds to get Shaggy to 56 quickly in melee. Yeah...no. I've played a fair amount of Reindog, and though he's got a nice ranged attack in his neutral, he's got a lot of melee potential, especially if you use the lightning to give yourself the buff. Retro mixes it up, not just spamming range or melee, it's pretty good. I'd like to see more of them just throw out their neutral special. It's only going to do like 3-4 damage because the enemy is going to jump, but it does pressure them to jump which helps you predict where they're going to go. If they stand in the whole thing it's 13 damage, they're not going to let that happen for free multiple times. I've been using the static perk that makes it do even more damage over time, but it only applies if you move on the ground for 4 whole seconds. That's just too long. I'd use something else but I'd need to spend gold to train them, and I'm unlocking characters instead with the gold. Reindog is usable in singles, but I do wish his up special in the air would spawn the lightning or something. It's just so bad in singles. It doesn't cover you, or do anything, you're almost always better off with the side special for recovery...
I've mostly played Reindog in doubles but i can vouch for projectile speed perk in order to get some nasty melee into projectile combos. Also fire perk is amazing for dmg
This Game isnt smash bros, please dont treat it like smash bros. Multiversus is its own beast, if we want the game to live for 10 years, we need to all treat this game with its own identity and give it plenty of water and sunlight to watch it grow! other than that, great content looking forward to more!!
@Peaceful Mind Sounds His down air is good, his midair side special if they're near the edge, his up air, a charged neutral attack and his ground side special. He's literally all about set ups
down ground attack for side KO's and down air for spikes, other than that idk, but you need to be careful when using the tail whip bc its got non existent priority
i do main him aswell lvl 19 i think, i dont struggle with damage at all its more about knocking someone out. The lightning hands the crystal gives helps alot, but sometimes its hard to setup. Which is his best attacks to knock someone off?
Why not? It's not like being thrown as an item and rescuing allies is all he does. And his melee game can wrack up some pretty decent damage, he doesn't need to cower on the other side of the map throwing projectiles all game.
ngl the constant interrupting by the commentators was pretty off putting. Obviously there was no ill intent on either side but goodness it's just common conversational skills lol.
He can im just a idiot who only charged up with shaggy, pressing neutral special again makes shaggy expend his energy to do a blast around himself that works like a parry
