Destin, my father is a high school food science/Agriculture/Welding teacher. I think that this demonstration would be awesome in a classroom setting. Lol you're so worried about your pronunciation of Couette... you were pretty darn close. To be a stickler, though, the 'ou' is pronounced like an English 'w' for something ending up sounding like [kwet].

Hi, Destin. Great video as usual. I had an idea for another video. I've always wondered what a fire would look like if you could pause it in time and see it from all angles, using the same effect that they use in the Matrix to pause and rotate around someone during a fight scene. The idea came to me because I'm curious if each flame from the fire is flat / 2D or if it has some 3D shape to it. You can't really tell in person since you can only see a flame from a 2D perspective and it changes so quickly that you can't see the other side or the top before it changes. I'm hoping I explained that well enough. I figured if anyone could make a video like this you could do it. Cheers!

If you ran an electric current through a copper tube filled with ferromagnetic fluid could you produce a larger induction coil with a bigger magnetic field? Or solid copper coil makes most effective induction field? Can you do induction heating in a vacuum?

Have you checked out the laminar flow used to make our plastic money here in Australia? The flow is over air, making a huge bubble which is liquid at the top and ‘solid’ at the bottom-from what I can see on videos online.

makes an awesome demonstration of air flow as well ... and for those who think fluid dynamics and air flow arent the same ... you are so very wrong ... they are exactly the same ... they just have different viscosities and so react similarly but more pronounced ... this is why drag reduction works in wind tunnels and water tunnels ... it is essentially the same thing with different densities
