I remember I was 9 or 10 waiting every Sunday to watch this show with my brothers. Now I’m about to be 18 on my way to college. Crazy how I grew with the show. I think it’s a perfect time to end it although sad.
I started watching it on amc and continued too tune in when the streamed the mmmm live it was definitely a different time and made it so great now that I watch it on Netflix again it doesn’t feel the same
I can’t imagine the anxiety to have to wait a week for the next episode, I started watching it this year on Netflix currently on season 9 my weekends have been binge watching the show. Good thing I’m watching it on Netflix cuz me and my anxiety could not wait.
The Walking Dead was my mom's absolute favorite show. I can't tell you how many times she rewatched it. Heck, I sat down and watched the entire run up through season ten with her last November through March (or whenever season ten aired), a week after we finished I came out into the living room and she had restarted the show. She loved it. Sadly she passed in August unexpectedly and so I decided I would finish watching the show in honor of her and the first part of this season she would have loved, and looking at this trailer, I know if she was watching it with me she would have let out and oooohhhhh that looks good. Can't wait to see where this goes and how the show ends.
In honor of your mother I will dedicate the rest of the season in her name, I don't know you or your mother but that was a touching reply.... she would of loved the 1st part, and when I watch the rest of it I will pause and remember the lady that enjoyed my favorite TV Show, TWD..!!!!
I'm hoping and praying that we get an Ending that justifies the time we put into to the show and the love we gave to the characters!! I'm really going to miss all of them. I fell in love with this show and hope they do the end well...please!!!
Looks epic. Judith needs to tell everybody where Michonne is really going!! Need to see Daryl,Carol and Maggie's reactions to Rick possibly still being alive. Can't wait to see what's gonna go down with Negan too
I can’t wait for the new season to come out, but also so sad that this will be the last season. I will never forget this show. Hopefully it will have a good ending.
I remember almost a decade ago, my now ex boyfriend telling me about some amazing show I just had to watch on Netflix. I started watching it, he stopped and now here we are. That relationship ended but my love for the Walking Dead will go on forever. ♥️ Thanks for the good times. Long live one of the greatest shows ever created
@Samurai Momo I don't think so I feel like one his throat was slit and he was put into the cell he wanted to die he wanted to be with Lucille so he kept pushing buttons like what he did w Maggie he was suicidal
i’ve been here for so many years following this show my whole life basically. to know it’s ending this year is heartbreaking but well needed. it was such a good show from the start and all the characters have grown so much. i’m excited to see the end.
So excited still can't believe this is going to be the final season. Where does the time go I've been watching TWD with my dad ever since I was 9 years old.
I was a little older, 12, but I still had that experience. Watching that and GOT over a decade of my life. This series shaped my teens and early adulthood
I was 11 when I discovered the first 2 seasons on Netflix and have been watching on AMC ever since the third season. I've grown up watching this amazing show and I can't believe it is finally ending. I just hope Rick may show up for the final episode before it's all said and done. Either way I will always stick with this and the other shows till the end. Especially those Rick movies. Hopefully this is a good send off for the show I've grown up with.
@denofthieves Mercer is an elite fighter and is responsible for protector Governor Milton and her son. The Governor 2.0 is not putting a bum in charge of her security. Carol is amazing but she's not invincible.
@Renaldy Calixte She probably can't fool him but we damn sure can take him out. She doesn't have to avoid him, because she's more dangerous than anyone in the Commonwealth and anyone who knows Carol knows this, hence why she's so important to the group
My mom got me into watching this show, and I’m so glad she did. I love this show a lot, it has been a crazy journey. We all felt joy, sadness, excitement and curiosity during every single episode. I hate for good shows to end, all of my favorite shows except The Walking Dead had ended sadly:( I just really hope that it will have a happy ending.
Fingers crossed Rick Grimes will appear in the final episode! It has been a helluva 8 year journey since I started watching this show for the first time!
@SteelBlack It would be great If they were making those Rick TWD films but so far I haven't been able to find out if they've even started production on the first film. They're probably just have Rick in the last episode or something and that will be it; Production on TWD movies should've happened by now.
@Amy Bowers but if he pops up that would be a great set up for the movies last couple of mins he shows up and someone will say where u been and it will end i bet
Been watching Walking Dead since it first aired on AMC. One of the best shows in cinema history and provided a lot of opportunities for its actors outside of the show.
Can't believe this is the final season. I've been watching the series since the beginning and I've always felt it could've continued for at least 2 more seasons. I am so excited to see what's coming next. I will miss this show so much. I'm so sad to see the original series end. This was my mom's favorite show, as well. Sadly, my mom passed away last year and she didn't get to see Negan saving Daryl. I will miss watching them all with her. Let's all hope it will have a positive ending and Rick shows up reuniting with Judith and Michonne.
I remember watching the series on Netflix and being in love with the show since, the first episode I watched on it’s actual release was episode seven of season six when we found out gelnn was alive and followed after that. It strangely became my comfort show which might be concerning but it is what it is😂 this is the first show that I’ve ever really joined a fan base for and I can’t even explain how excited I am for the future of the walking dead universe so this ending is just so bittersweet 🖤
Man I forgot how great the Walking Dead was. I went from a kid so scared of the show for how realistic the zombies looked to finishing the whole comic book series in 4 years. I even wrote about it for my college essay and it developed me into a better person. I might just watch this season as a closure to all the highs and lows this series provided. Thank you Robert Kirkman for everything!!!
Been watching TWD since I was 13. Almost 21 now and it was the first show I ever started watching that wasn't a cartoon or a Disney channel show. Therefore this show will always be my number 1 and Rick Grimes my favorite fictional character ever.
Can't believe after everything this show has been through that it's finally ending , I hope everything turns out ite for Rick and Daryl and everyone else and it's time like this is it everything will come to and end and all secrets will be exposed and they can finally put their feet up
Its so crazy. I remember I started watching this show when I was 6. I watched the very first episode on its air date. My stepdad was like hey there's some new zombie show on you wanna watch it? Little did I know 11 years later it would turn into my favorite show of all time. One that can bring me to tears just from rewatching episodes. Truly mind blowing
I just have to say a few words. I was born in 2007. When I started to get old enough to remember things, everything was twd everywhere you went. I have deep love for zombies and the horror genre as a whole. Even though 8 didn't watch any thing past the prison, thank you twd for making me who I am today
I watched since the first episode I remember seeing commercials of it before it premiered and being excited. It’s a great show well done. It slowed a little but it really has picked up a lot. I can’t wait to see how it ends!!
I've been watching this show since the start. I immediately fell in love. And ever since I've watched hundreds of shows but nothing comes close to The Walking Dead.
Supernatural (S1-S5) is great. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is another one in the same ‘monster of the week’ format as SPN and it’s phenomenal. You also can’t go wrong with the less fantastical Breaking Bad or The Sopranos either.
These last few seasons haven’t been the best, I loved the first few where it showed them mainly surviving and fighting against walkers, and other hostile humans were occasionally thrown in. Now it’s just battle and battle right after another. We just got done with the whisper’s now they are fighting against 2 different groups at the same time…..
I've followed this great show from episode 1. I just started to cry, cause I feel like these characters are part of my family. Cause I know what's coming now in season 11, my favorite characters are going to meet there fate. I just hope Daryl, Carol, Negan, and Eugene don't die..can't wait for February 20th 2022!!!
I remember when this first came out we would sit on the couch as a family and watch it every Sunday night and then the talking dead right after 😭 can't believe it's almost over. I'm probably going to go binge the whole season again. I always end up losing interest after Glenn dies it took me months to finally watch the next episode
My heart hurts, it’s the second to last trailer guys. So glad to have been here from day 1 that faithful Halloween night. I can’t wait to be here for the end too ❤️ TWD forever
I was 13 when the show started and now I’m getting ready to turn 25. Been watching this show for half of my life and I’m sad it’s all coming to an end.
Excited for this. I stopped watching the show after S7 but then recently got back into it again. While I don't like the newer seasons as much as the older, it's still been entertaining and will be interesting to see how it ends.
I remember seasons 4-6 were huge. Every Sunday night was primetime and it seemed like it was an event to watch and talk about each and every episode. Miss those days but cant wait to see how the show ends.
Its honestly so sad to see it end but it happens with everything I miss the good days with Rick Michonne and Carl but I'll rewatch it in a couple years and get that same feeling I once had
I’m going to have to mourn for a while when this show ends. My dad and I watched the trailer for the first season together on his big box computer and we’ve been watching the show together since I was 7 years old. I don’t know what I’ll do with myself now:(
I always get so sad knowing that this is the end. My first time ever seeing a scene from the walking dead I was 5-6 years old and that was in season two. I remember being so scared when I saw this certain character right off a walker in an RV with a screw driver. And I ran away from the living room where my parents were watching it, later tho I wanted to see it again because I was curious but the walking dead wasn’t on Netflix at that time so I just watched season 2 and season 3 and I watched the first season on this illegal website ( I’m not sure I just remember seeing that season somehow) so when 2014 hit is when my little sister started to watch the walking dead because I played season 1-4 again on Netflix (I love rewatching anything with people to see their reaction). So you can seeing how this show is basically my entire life source and it’s gonna end when I’m 16 years old🥲. I really wanna erase my memory and go back in time and see this show and experience it all over again. It’s taught me so much. It’s such a shame that I don’t think I’ll ever see the cast in person since I was too little too go to comic con of any kind of conventions. My heart broke the day Scott Wilson passed away becuase I always wanted him to be my grandpa for some reason. My sister and I love and appreciate this show so much and there isn’t a day that we don’t watch at least one episode or watch people react to watching it. Sometimes I wish I recorded myself watching this show to see how much I cried tears of joy or just pure agony this show killed me so many times, but for sure I’m gonna record my sister and my reaction to these last few episodes. Losing characters on this show felt like losing a loved one for me (I’m very emotional like that). My sister and I will forever and always love TWD with all our hearts and one day I’ll meet at least one cast member! And collect all their Funko pops it’s so freakin hard for me getting them especially Rick that man I swear 🙄.
Well, think about it this way. You're only 16. You have a lifetime to live. Come back in 30 years and rewatch the whole thing. It'll be a whole new experience. You'll see it in a way you weren't able to before.
@Geno X Um I think they did a pretty good job thank you very much. You know nothing about me so don’t act like you do.I see that the comment was directed towards the commenter, but we were the same age and is basically directed to everyone who was like that. Way to ruin the mood dude.
@Matthew Clive same. I started watching this when I was around five years old. I remember the first time I was introduced to this show by my older brother in burger king. I didn't watch it after for a while but then after season 4 came out I just started watching it again until now. Not gonna lie I kinda didnt watch season 8,9 and 10 but I would always watch the scenes and spoiler reviews on youtube by many channels when the episodes would come out. Damm This has been a journey. Who would have thought. This show has taught me soooo much and yeah. It's coming to an end. I'm glad there are other people who grew up with this show. I feel some comfort over this for some reason.
When Glenn died part of my enthusiasm for the show went with him. Although I respect the new characters the storyline has been all over the place and too many beloved characters gone. The last season will probably kill off the rest.
He has to be! This entire show was about him up until the last season plus the movies are coming. So they have to have a teaser for them. Just guessing
Yea, I'm definitely going to miss this show. Right from the start I couldn't help but identify with each character and their choices. I even have a tattoo of the blade with the brass knuckles on my arm.
had no idea this season was gonna be 3 parts but i’m hype af. i was wondering how they were going to pack all the commonwealth stuff into half a season
Been watching TWD since the 3rd season I was 9 then I started to fall off towards the end of the seventh season then got back on in the middle of the ninth please don’t disappoint me I’m really looking forward to these last few episodes to explain a lot and be awesome 💯
Meanwhile I started watching and reading walking dead 1st season again and I really enjoying. It is sort of fun also trauma because I know when my favorite ones died and how they did. Looking forward to new season ♡
Been watching since day one I absolutely love this show I was 10 recently turned 21 a few weeks ago how time flys I love this show so much I remember tuning in every week I’m really gonna miss this show 💔
Oh my goodness why did you have to go and put a timeline like that on it? Just kidding, after reading your comment now I understand the why I have the amount of grey hair and body aches I've been experiencing lately. Time does fly by fast!
Thank you for all the great years. Loved all the characters and will miss them all. Love the show so much I build a shooter arcade cabinet based on the show. Miss you all and thanks for making my Sunday's nights amazing for so many years. I applaud all of you. 👏
Grew up on this show, now im graduating school and starting my life, and this show is coming to an end. I really hope TWD has a good ending unlike other shows like the 100
started watching this last january with my brother and grandma, one of the best experiences ever. we watched until halfway through season 6 but then we finished it off with my mother instead. that was amazing
