@mattsrcking Lol You have been flying for about 30 years what Remote Control Airplane Lol now don't change it. You have been flying a toy and I have been flying a real Plane because I am a Private Pilot who flies a real Airplane and flies myself not with Remote Control with my own hands Lol. And I have FAA or TSA permission also.
Your a brave soul for allowing him to fly that beast. I guess you did not see what happen to the new jet he got and wrecked sort of in the first 5 minutes LOL! Anyway that Jet is seriously so bad ass!! What a unit.
@LION TAMER they actually aren’t terribly difficult to fly. Similar to an aerobatic plane but a little less responsive Plus simulators help prepare you for the way the plane flies
@LION TAMER At this level, you're using a simulator to learn things like that. They have them specifically for RC where you're using your actual controller and the whole lot. Saves a-lot of money.
Thanks for the memories, I was a B-52 Crew Chief in the Air Force and was around all kinds of jets. There is nothing like hearing one start, they all sound similar but it's something you never forget. 👍
I'm convinced I'd watch this man do just about anything at this point. Track maintenance, grass growing, painting, rc cars and planes, drag racing, drifting, jet boats, it's all so entertaining and wholesome.
I came here years ago for fast junk yard cars. From mini jet boats, RC cars and planes, tanks, jet boat track racing, and certain Fords, you guys literally love everything I do except BMX. Best channel on the youtubes, hands down. I haven't missed a vid in three years. Just keep living the American Dream and bringing freedom to all us loyal supporters! Scotty Cranmer now lives in FL. You should take him for a ride at the FF.
I really appreciate the diverse content on the channel. Drag racing is obviously the focus and most common thing but the mix of different stuff breaks it up nicely a bit.
I grew up flying all kinds of planes with my dad. This has to be the most realistic RC plane I've seen. I had an eerie chill watching this thing fly. I know he was somewhere digging it with me, too. WOW
The beautiful thing about RC is how it brings different ages together.. There is older guys that build jets that cost 4 times plus the jet in this video that have younger guys fly them.. Racing off-road RC I've seen a guy in his 70's with a 9 year old girl standing right next to him and they were racing.. I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself and my eyes and reflexes are not what they use to be but I have a ball.
I have the pleasure of living on the same exit as the freedom factory, it truly is the next driveway over from the freedom factory. Love these guys, I try and make it to every event because I know it’s a blessing to be this close to it all
I use to be pretty big into RCs but never ventured into the flying or boating aspect of the hobby but dang if it isn't entertaining just to watch. Makes me miss my old brushless velineon powered Revos and rock crawlers that were $500-1000+ rigs at the time. 🤘
Again. These things are MOVING. This footage is SO good. I don't think people even remotely understand how hard it is to film these things. George is doing a literal, actual super human job filming this from what? 15 feet away? God damn.
Literally up there at the top pinnacle of what RC can do. I always imagined getting up to this level one day, but its certainly a bit rich for my blood
we have one of those an EDF form with thrust vectoring, but you see that specific jet turbine with thrust vectoring is pretty cool you'd be surprised that jet right there can literally do a flat spin and come out 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Outstanding! Vectored thrust and canards look like a blast in RC! I wonder if you can buy scale RC Vulcan bomber kits these days..... been out of the loop for decades.
I would be interested in seeing some G meters on board that beast! I am really liking the aviation side of the channel it's awesome! The variety is great with everything y'all got going on. Hell ya brother!!
Looks as if you're finally going to take the leap into fueled flight. Remember there are cars and rockets that are fueled also. Have fun and thanks for bringing us along for the ride Cleetus! JPol.
I saw someone comment about putting one of those turbines on a scale model of Mullet, and I have to say that is an amazing idea! Figure out an "afterburner"!
man you guys should put an accelerometer in the cockpit to measure the g forces that would be felt in such maneuvers. This thing is crazy badass, that takeoff was incredible
Absolutely love these rc vids cleet!! Definitely not the content we expected but its the content we didnt know we needed 🔥🔥. Keep it up man, you have been absolutely killin it lately💯🔥
We will need another BRvid Channel named “Freedom Flights-Captain Cleetus” to put all these awesome RC adventures!… 😜😜 To you Garret, Family, Friends, and all the crew behind Team Cleetus… Stay Safe!… Stay Well!… Stay Positive! Stewart
yep I get to watch a few different models fly every weekend everything from 5-cylinder quarter-scale biplanes to a viper turbine jet 200 + it's also a bummer when you watch one of them go down and it's a complete loss. and this is more or less every weekend always exciting love this content 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Maybe it's something that exists but I think I would want a camera on the front and use like a virtual reality head set so I could have more of an " in cockpit flight experience " I think I would have alot of trouble keeping up with something like that without something like that not sure how the guys do it!
I love how impressed they are by a little turbine powered plane going 200mph when Cleetus does that in 6.4 seconds and a 1/4 mile in a freaking El Camino😅
i really want one of these. I have a BVM Ultra Bandit and it's crazy fast. Takes a long runway to take off and land. This will fly in much shorter fields.
You can tell Cleetus has a lot of practice because he's never even really been nervous even flying B2 through the tunnel. Or with a jet glued to the back of it.
That looked like a takeoff distance record to me (I'm not officiating just casually observing) And if that wasn't impressive enough the man on stick punches the pedal and (guessing the G-Force hits a 10) does a hard vertical climb into a momentary free fall stall. F I R E C R A C K E R FLYER! I'm not totally sure but he may have even achieved inverted flight at one point as it looked to me. And who doesn't love a nose up slow descent into a stationary position. In the words of Buster Poindexter: "Pilot at this this party was Flying Hot Hot Hot"
I really think Cleetus should get himself the E-flight V1200. a prop plane that out of the box does 140mph. I've had mine up to over 170. I have seen online folks break 200mph with a foam prop plane.
Hey there fellow Cleetus devotee and RC buff! Your newest infatuation has me completely smitten. Many thanks for taking the time to film some extra footage for us fans to enjoy.
POV meh.. There are guys that fly RC jets from screens mounted in vans, buses and RV's .. There is a video of a guy crashing a jet on its maiden voyage where you can literally here the wife saying "there goes $40,000".
I would love to see your team and the trucks you gave them on an off road rc track. Likely some would laugh until they peed themselves, and others would race dirty to win ( all would race dirty, except maybe Sam!)
Man it's awesome that you're giving the rc community some love now we just need to get you on the right path with helicopters be cool if you came to ircha 2023
Just got the email with FF 2023 schedule, "Tour of Destruction" This is what Ive been waiting for since the first tour of the track, HELL YA BROTHER!!! I'd also recommend a whip-around race, 5-10 laps but you turn around and race the other way each lap (best done with slower cars like stock, wore out 4bangers)
The last plane my late brother built was a 6ft long ducted fan jet that run 10s. He took it to an airshow and it was clocked through the speed trap at 380kph, he also backed the run to claim the southern hemishpere speed record for a ducted fan jet.
