I would’ve said we could count the 3 Sacred Treasures(which let Pit fly without the power of flight granted by Palu or Viridi) but those got destroyed in Uprising. Also, even looking at Pit’s solo jump height in the games, the original kid Icarus is a platformer, and he’s got a decent jump height, but he only gets one. His uprising hops kind of suck though.

erm actually kirby is only a few centimeters tall and he dosent jump 500 feet he actually is only jumping his height or a little more per jump therefore ur wrong ☝🤓

In terms of strengh: kirby can hit a rushing meteor the size of a city back in to space screeching at multiple light years per second with a wooden baseball bat. Speed: kirby can run against the force of a black hole meaning he and sonic on foot are essentially on equal footing. In terms of derability: in canvas curse Drawcia tried to thanos snap him out of exsistence, the only thing it did to the pink puff ball was piss him off.

Fond memories of exactly this with gameshark and the original Smash Brothers. Infinite jumps, and Fox's gigantic stage. Just air battles and infinite jumping underneath the ship. The same code that granted infinite jumps also somehow allowed you to jump out of freefall, so Up B was fair game to use over and over as well!

Not sure how programmable that would be, probably near impossible if I had to guess, but Pit should only be able to jump an infinite amount of time for 5 minutes, each jump after that should set him on fire and deal 80% in self damage (mmm, chicken wings) As for Captain Falcon, the anime made it pretty clear he can JUMP

Ground battle pit still has rocket jump and jump glide powers, so another way to do it is just the up special does damage to him.

I think that, instead of counting pixels, you guys could've divided the original game jump height by original game character height, and then multiplied that result by the smash character height. ya know, the butterfly method from school! you might have to still use pixels to determine the character heights, but it'd be way more accurate, because there's no way that Simon's jump should be less than his own height

While Kirby and Dedede do get infinite double jumps in their games, the actual height you get per Button press is rather small. you have to really spam the button to go up fast, and as such, the height of their multijump should have been nerfed even though they have infinite of them.

Pit's infinite jumps should have had an ingame use timer (like rob's up-b fuel) of 5 minutes Afterwards he takes constant damage while in the air

Pit can’t fly as long as he wants. If he uses the Power of Flight for more than five minutes, his wings burn up. And based on one late-game moment, there seems to be something of a cooldown, since using it again shortly after nearing the limit burnt up his wings. EDIT: Forgot to mention, it also seems like whoever grants him the Power of Flight (both Palutena and Viridi do so at different points) doesn’t let him fly freely.

I had wondered how Mario and Luigi would be handled, with all the different jump heights in different games and all the different heights the different jumps get. I think Odyssey's base jump might actually be the lowest jump Mario has in any Super Mario game, except for, like, the dive rollout or something. Fun video idea.

Giving character the ability to hover reminds me of Evangelion: Battle Orchestra. It's a platform fighter like Smash, and you can play as all of the Angels. While all of the humanoid Angels move like normal, the other ones like Ramiel, Gaghiel and Leliel all have the power to float.

If we are using Super Metroid Samus, she should have infinite jumps due to Space Jump, however these jumps need to be timed well, otherwise no more jumps

If you’re curious on how high Mega Man jumps, he jumps a little over 9 ft if you’re using Mega Man 2 as the source material. His jump height can range in different heights, but 9 ft seems the most “accurate” jump height because of his weight and to connect more with the video instead of over 15 ft of jump height. Edit: I thought Pikachu can jump higher than he did here, maybe it’s only for the anime then.

Idk, some of those jumps look too short actually. Like Simon's you said was 1'7" (.54m) but in the clip provided he's getting aerial height well over his full height, so he should have at least a 6' reach. Still a wonderful idea and lovely to see the chaos in action

Correction. Steve can jump a little over one meter. Steve jumps something around 1.2 meters in height. There is a certain combination of blocks you can set up to get the exact jump height, but I am having trouble remembering what they were.

Technically, Samus can jump infinitely with the Space Jump Upgrade, and jump high with the high jump boots. Finally, Inkling's Super Jump is accurate
