Sleep is determined by the individials biological make up. Not everyone requires the same amount of sleep. I am retired and when i tell people that i sleep 10 hours or more, i am met with.. disbelief. My testicles should be huge then. 🤣🤣 I had to get up early for 50 years of my working life. I never for ones felt it being the natural thing to do. But we are Slaves of capitalism.

I had bad insomnia when I was younger, and I once went 3 days without sleep. It really messed with my short term memory, and it made me feel delirious. It almost felt like I was beginning to dream while I was awake.

@StraightFlush When I went to bed on the 3rd night, I felt like I just collapsed from exhaustion, and I finally fell asleep. Had this continued any longer though, I probably would've gone to a doctor and got some sort of sleeping pills.

The testicle size difference is probably because the man is working so they won't have much need for kids during those times they're sleeping less than 7hrs and if it's opposite for females it only means they're more capable to nurture and take care of child so they're more than likely biologically being forced into the elements of reproduction...

What about too much sleep? I once slept 48 hours straight, woke up once for the bathroom, and continued for another 24 hours. Do people memorise more? Did that make me smarter? Xd

Above all, listen to your body. For example his tip about staying cool when you sleep is a good one for most people but I find it hard to go to sleep if it's below about 77F and prefer it to be much warmer, as high as 90F. Also, and this cannot be overstated: Some people are naturally nocturnal. If you're a day person just imagine what it's like if life forces you to be awake at night and then you have to try to catch up on sleep during the day. That's what night people feel when the shoe's on the other foot.

Regular sleep - impossible - I work my 40 hours in 3 days. Would love to sleep in til 8 on my days off but up at 430. Hypnosis vids and alcohol help.
