Rick seems like a simple character to learn, but one that has a higher skill ceiling with the portal. I bet that he and his teammates can do way more with it than you'd first think.
I hope in Multiversus’ non-beta release they give Rick and Morty actual voice lines and not ones taken from the show. I also hope they give the already existing characters more interactions (especially Finn who literally has none)
When Rick's moveset was leaked, he, along with his allies could freely go through them, and enemies could be hit into the portals. I know you can still technically do that, but only when one portal is out. When two portals are out, they shrink and only projectiles can go through them. It's kind of a shame that the crazy portal set ups from Rick's beta moveset were removed, but I guess they did that to avoid any stalling techniques, or from being able to just hit enemies into the blast zone.
Even if they haven’t recorded new lines and can only clip stuff out of the show, you would think they could still give some Morty reaction lines. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME MORTY?!!”
Lowblow bro, and not entirely accurate or fair when considering for things like scope, time and pressure. I can see some characters being a bit underdone, my main issue being Banjo-Kazooie. Honestly though, when you have characters like Joker, Hero, Sephiroth and the aforementioned Steve (including all of his counterparts) making the cut with exceptional care, love and effort put into their core design it's hard to be mad. Even Banjo-Kazooie as I mentioned before, just felt underdone rather than lackluster. a lot of their CRAZIER moves would've taken time to balance and implement in a way that made them feel accurate.
Every character has their default taunt automatically equipped to their first slot. It looks like shwifty was going to be his default, but it was changed to premium for marketability, however they forgot to change the code so the taunt is equipped and you can access the emote for free. Whatever you do, don't unequip the emote or you will have to pay for it. I removed it not realizing I couldn't equip it again and it kinda sucks.
I don't know if you have the adult language setting on but I'm pretty sure it sounds like one of Rick's code sounds sounds like he's saying the sh word except they made it sound like he kind of wasn't saying the whole thing
@Master0fHyrule ok but you are calling the neutral attack for rick the side attack and the side attack a neutral attack. I played smash and I don't remember calling the attack that you press while stationary a side attack and the one I press to the side a neutral attack.
