Sherman has been my favorite player for a long time for that reason. Yeah he’s a bit arrogant at times, but #1 he backs it up by being one of the best corners in the game (and FYI y’all, if you try him with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you gonna get), and #2 the on-field stuff is mind games. Super well spoken, intelligent, and obviously he’s a great NFL athlete, but his game is as much mental as physical.

You don’t just go to Stanford for just football you know. It’s one of the few schools where academic excellency is just as important as being an athlete

Just Ruckus that’s what makes the athletes impressive. Not just do they compete in a power 5 conference, but they excel in academics at one of the top schools in the U.S. Ivy League schools may be good at sports too, but none of them have a football team in a power 5 conference like Stanford.

MrBwincali420 I carefully chose the word especially because everyone should have humility. But the media, being an outlet that provides the public with truths, should hold this standard as high, if not higher than everyone else when on the job. Fake news, regardless of the sector, causes a ton of damage to the person of interest or to the public. And to be frank bro, I’m not sure how you even insinuate that I would think Sherman can never be wrong, when I was clearly reacting to the video clip/example. In that clip, the reporter was getting flustered and couldn’t just move on. She had to keep arguing for a storyline, which I personally found to be embarrassing, because a comment section is full of opinions.

I wonder what his agent thinks about that. I wonder if his agent and/or his employer counseled him to not speak to the press prior to this because he said something damaging.
