i love how, despite the lack of dialogue, you can really see their personalities. yellow recognized the command blocks, and used them to escape. tsc decided to see what happened when they put the beacons together, and used that to completely break it. green decided to build instead of using what was already there, and also used how purple flew out to figure out how to escape. you can also see that orange rules through fear, unlike how purple ruled the villagers by giving them what they wanted. purple puts their safety above others, and will lie to or abandon others to guarantee said safety, even if it hurts the only people who could consider them a friend. while orange hasnt had much screen time so far (i havent finished watching, but i think that changes in future episodes), you can definitely see a desire for control, even if it means everyone fears them. i cant wait to finish watching the eps that are all ready out, and to see where the series will go from there!

One thing I love about Allan is that he knows when animating/showing something is needed. He doesn't waste your time by showing something that already happened to another character but just different colors. Can't commend him enough

When each Stick reaches their end point during the last parkour course, each timer stops at the same time (1.59.29). This means that they all tied when they weren't there to get in each other's way as they did before, and are technically all on an even playing field. Maybe King and Purple knew this and realized that with their equal abilities, combined with their competitive tendencies, the Sticks would tie enough times that they would need a tiebreaker and could eventually be separated. The parkour challenge was an amazingly fitting choice for a trap, not only due to the high chance of success (for King and Purple), but also because it seems so innocent, and the Sticks would easily and willingly partake. Edit: So the timers aren't actually accurate to their time (this was obvious since the whole "everyone wins" is meant to distract them), but the "winning" time is an arbitrary number. What we now know from AvM in Real Time, Red got there first, Second and Green nearly tied, then Yellow, and Blue came last. Since Red left first, then Green, Second, Blue, and Yellow, all this means is that Yellow was faster than Blue and Green is faster than Second.

THERE IS SO MUCH TO DISCUSS- But, to be as simple as possible, I'd like to note how much I like the fact that even the way they all traverse the parkours, and their reactions to winning, losing, getting the reveal, and breaking out are so vastly different. And I love how despite the pretty dang big cast of characters, they all have something going on, even the henchman piglins feel real and sincere in the panicking, their forced acts, their reactions, EVERYTHING IN THIS SERIES IS SO GREAT-

I love how each colour had a different idea of how to break the system relating to each of their personalities: the second coming is lax and decides to just move the beacon, yellow is technical and noticed the chain command block, whereas green is observant and noticed details to use to their advantage

How is it that Alan managed to make an in depth story out of stick figures who don’t even talk? It’s truly remarkable.

These videos done by Alan are truly amazing. He has an incredible talent most people dream they have, one that he does so effortlessly and consistently. The colors, the choreography, the story and the music are wonderful and well executed. His videos are at most times more entertaining and enjoyable than a lot of movies and television shows today. Keep up the great work Alan! Looking forward to the next one in this series.

My favorite part about this is how the music slowly starts getting more and more intense as the characters find out what happened

The "sky" block Green was trying to break was very difficult to do so, because it was made of obsidian, as it is shown afterwards. Really appreciate that attention to detail!

I have been following you for the last couple of years, and you have one of the most creative minds I have EVER seen anywhere! From making the stick figures, to saving the chosen one, to the minecraft series, I watched every episode at least twice. Your storyline is very interesting and love your hard work behind every sound and action that you cast in the video! Absolutely love your work bro! 👌❣️

Can i just be the one to say that this incredibly complex and intriguing story has not one piece of dialogue and still manages to be a masterpiece? If you’re reading this Alan, props to you.

The animations have so much emotion to them especially when they win or lose or try to cut off their friends from getting farther. This is hands down the best animation series I've ever seen

Alan, you killed it. You seriously knocked it out of the park. I mean, this short stick figure animation based in a video game with no talking is more complex, creative, original, and overall compelling than most oscar-winning movies. There is no way you could have possibly made this any better, its perfect. And the fact that you, along with only several other animators and story boarders, made something of this magnitude? I am beyond impressed. Much respect man, can't wait for the next one. I still love your videos.

the scene where everyone slowly realizes something is wrong after they “win” and everyone else is still “doing the parkour” gives me chills everytime

This is absolutely amazing. The storytelling is 10/10, the characters are 10/10, the animation is 10/10. This series is beyond most TV-shows and deserves way more recognition.

12:45 The fact that I'm feeling remorse for the piglins shows that Alan is just too good of an animator

The music added so much more to this animation. I especially loved the part inside the looping mini-parkour sectors with the creepy violin music as it really reminds me of Half-Life: Alyx's music while inside the combine vault.

Looking back, that headpat purple received probably meant way more to him than it should have

The pacing of this episode is just incredible. The slow realization to the true nature of the obstacle course, plus all the stick figures' resourceful thinking to escape. This, this is stick cinema.

6:06 when that music kicks in, it fits so well. Cause at that point I’m like wtf is going on, but then the music really adds to that uneasy feeling. And then the music from that point forward just accents everything so perfectly. 20/10. Absolutely amazing.

I love how SC, Yellow and Green are really competitive and Blue and Red are kinda just happy to be there and just clap for whoever won

This series seriously has a better story and better characters than most actual tv shows, that have an entire team of like 20 people behind them. AND there's not even any talking - yet everything is conveyed beautifully through the animation. This is just amazing.

They should try to recreate this when they get back home on the desktop. It was really fun until the tiebreaker and so this should become a regular competition, like the building competition that 4 of them do while TSC referees

I am someone who rarely cares about story, character development and all the other important non action related things in movies, animations, video games and literally any kind of entertainment. But I find myself actually caring about these stick figures and their story, their character. Your animations have made me care and that is amazing. Welll done and keep doing what you are doing. This is awesome content.

I just realized, in a couple episodes, Red blames TSC for getting them stranded, but this episode shows that it was Red's own idea to put three of the beacons together. TSC was still just dumping the piglin soldiers off the edge. TSC discovered that the beacons could do that, but Red initiated that particular jump

Dude this was even longer then the original minecraft animation, that shows the amount of work and dedication Alan and his team are putting into these animations. Not only did it take less then half a year for this, he has a baby he spends time with. These videos must be hard sometimes but you still get it done, thank you for you and your teams hard work.

I like how since Orange green and yellow are typically the smartest and most creative ones they're the ones who find ways out of the parkour traps Green remembers how purple was flying escapes the matrix lol and figures out the king's plan Yellow of course would be the one to find the command block and turn off the teleporter Orange since hes the 2nd coming figures out how to traverse through all the parkour settings which lets him find red and we can tell from the building challenges that although red isnt dumb hes pretty simple so he probably would've just kept running back to the beginning so its a good thing the 2nd coming found him

Alan is the perfect example of an animator that has made it big on BRvid. If only the algorithm favored animators this way, then they wouldn't seem so scarce on BRvid...

The sense of suspense you feel when the music is no longer playing, and you start to piece together what’s really going on.

I like how his animations don't need words to tell the storyline, like you know whats happening, and you can probably imagine what they're saying, thats how much I love his animations, the characters show so much emotion, that you don't need words to tell u what they're saying or what's happening.

it never ceases to amaze me that even without faces or voices, these characters can use their body language to be some of the most expressive animated characters I've ever seen.

I love the consistency throughout these animations, in the spider cave green was running faster than the others, and in this video on the second course green also has the quickest time, these little details are great

I only just realised, when each of them get their 'trophy' each area they go to is the same colour as them. For example the yellow one has sandstone, which is also yellow and the blue one has warped netherrack, which is blue

I love how Alan can bring about such a good story without any of the characters talking at all!

Kinda fun how they got out of this situation using their usual stuff. Green building, Yellow messing with redstone/command block stuff, Orange just trying something out

I think one of the best things in this episode was the twist that this wasn’t just a wholesome game of parkour races with an old friend of theirs, and instead opened a darker plot.

The creator of this is very good with the planning of series and events this will all lead to something big his creativity seems endless and unique

The one lesson to learn from this episode: never cross the streams.
