We didn’t have as many shows or social media back then. Back then Seinfeld was practically the only thing on TV. If that came on today. It wouldn’t be as successful.

It's like seriously a comedian knows a few bits of information and jokes about it. Seriously if religion wants to stop having jokes about them. They might want to stop being a joke. I believe that a valid conception of the idea of "they don't need to care about the fans" is that, insofar as an entertainer wants to have freedom over their craft, they ought not need the consent of fans, so long as they accept the risk that they may lose their popularity in the process. In this sense, if the entertainer doesn't care about the fans, the fans don't need to care about the entertainer. Next, incest. I will make this short. I do not advocate incest, but on rational and moral grounds, I must argue that it is neither the entire relationship itself, nor the pregnancy that is problematic, but an aspect of the relationship dynamic, specifically, power dynamics. At least 30% of the women hired by SNL over the last 15 years have been pretty damn funny. Kristen Wiig, Cecily Strong, Vanessa Bayer, Heidi Gardner, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant. Also, if you don't find them funny but lots of women/other people do, then maybe it's just not humor that you PERSONALLY find funny.

Yes. Anyone saying Jerry was joking or that he was in the right obviously has not seen him in other interviews. Even though I like Jerry, I sure wouldnt like to meet him. Anything besides a vow and a thank you would be below him im sure. In Comedians in Cars drinking coffee, he has Ricky Gervais and they argue how Jerry thinks people should thank him, and Ricky says he's thankful to people. A lot of people can say - Oh, its his humor. - But really, its a giant ego.

@빯 I'm a catholic and There's multiple things the catholic church did that was super sketchy and bad and the one he pointed out was the sexual assault stuff with priests, but the crusades weren't a great time and nor was the Spanish Inquisition which was lead by spanish catholics. He was making a joke how they thought he went maybe a little too far with his religious jokes, he said how the universal church went a little too far lol
