@King Ghx5t old head is someone who’s music taste is behind the times, and only likes older music and hates newer music because the newer sound is different and they’re used to the older sound they grew up with and since they didn’t grow up or make memories with the present day music they can’t understand the appeal. Oldheads have a set standard of “this is what is good and this is what is bad; this is what hip hop should sound like and if it deviates away from that it isn’t good” strictly and don’t have the open mind to understand how newer music is also good it just has different strengths and a different appeal than older music. It doesn’t have to correlate with literal age. I think hit-boy is a legendary producer and I think it’s valid for someone to prefer him over metro but metros sounds have a different vibe and appeal than hit boys beats so I’m not gonna compare them because their styles are diff from each other and they succeed for different standards
