Thing is it’s actually not cool advice because it isn’t advice at all. It’s just saying that people point out stupid mistakes by using a fake anecdote. It’s like a joker society meme but not funny.

He never said the quote in this vid since he never taught children how to do mathematics. he did say that "a person who never makes a mistake is a person who never did something new" which sounds very similar to the quote you said in your comment.
I’m gonna have to call bs on this entire story, but the message is good. It’s very true that no matter what you do in life people will always be quick to point of the mistakes, once you realize that you don’t have to listen to their ridicule life becomes immensely more enjoyable.
infamous doesn't mean "not famous" 😅 infamous means "very famous, but for the wrong reasons" For instance: Kanye West is infamous for his controversial statements on Jewish people
well doing nothing can cause you to not make any mistake but mistakes are a way of learning and could help you in the future (unless you’re like me who doesn’t learn from their mistakes) or a reminder that you’ve tried your best.
