I'd also like to point out how despite that stove being super powerful, this wonderful lady has measured the water just right each time so it never boils over. No doubt the amount of water is just right so that it's tasty and not diluted or too salty as well. She even times it down to the second so it doesn't overcook the noodles. That's precision, that's professionalism, and that's why it's a viable business and not something to look down on!

@WEirdo I think I understand what you are saying, but having experienced helping to run the operations of a steakhouse - in a very competitive urban environment - I know firsthand that "professionalism" in the food service industry applies to many different aspects of it.

@Derrick Landers i guess u never really been too japen its like getting a buring at a fair stand where its fast processed to where its a guy literally portion everything out its not the same but im glaf you think you saw to deep into it

@OmniImmortal 99 Actually it is... consistency is hard to maintain in any business.

@WEirdo Unless they're making their own noodles, grinding their own seasonings, etc, etc... it's still ramen noodles - period. Professionalism extends to more than just a title and ingredients - it's also the process one in providing said service. You're reading too hard into what you saw on these supposed "professional ramen carts"...or whatever that means.

It baffles me how people are hating that this lady sells ramen. Idk about you, but I love the stuff and I like how she added her own twist on it. Honestly I can't wait to visit Asian countries and experience their street food (among other things), even if it's something as simple as an old lady making instant ramen. ❤

@lidiya No she doesn't, Lil' Lequeeda wants everyone to know one: 1) She equates ramen noodles with low-income, inner city or rural black people (hence her use of the term "ghetto"); 2) She is a fan of cooking and/or may even be a trained professional (who are actually some of the most obnoxious people when it comes to food - they believe that everyone has 8hrs a day to one side dish), hence her " can do that at home..."; 3) She may be a resourceful person, which is good - just speak for yourself; 4) She's probably "Afrocentric" and hate it that no one's lauding over African ramen noodles.(hence her comment "koreaboo").

@Mia you really can't be black talking this ignorantly. I'm from the south and they make snowballs with FROZEN KOOL AID and you'd get a mud hole stomped in you talking dumb stuff like this in Mississippi. It's called street food for a reason. We can make burgers at home but we got McDonald's. We can have breakfast at home but we have IHOP. Your logic is completely baseless and off.

@Mia oh cmon u buy hotdogs, sandwich, or even any simple food from the restaurant. u could make them urself too. let people enjoy things.

Lmao at the comments 🤣🤣.. But honestly why r ppl bothered by this sweet lady making a living? Even if it's something easy.. Who fucking cares.. If there's a market for it then good for her.. There are so many things that we buy that can be done at home easily and in no time but we still buy them sometimes because it's more convenient.. So ur telling me I can't go to a diner n buy an omelet? Because it can be made at home in 3 minutes? Lmao ppl r weird!

This Ahjumma making Ramen, made me so happy! And, my mouth is watering like crazy too! 😊🤤♥️ Guys, she is not just making instant ramen; she is putting lots of toppings, her heart & soul; and love into this. If I had street vendor like this around the corner; I would stop by and order everyday! Even though I myself can cook good ramen but sometimes I don’t have all the ingredients. There’s something about Ramyun tasting extra good when someone else cooks it for you! ♥️

It doesn’t matter what people say, having someone like that cook you instant ramen will always, hands down, taste better than any instant ramen made at home. Doesn’t matter if it’s the exact same ramen and ingredients it just tastes better. Grandma magic.

This is absolutly false. Everyone have tap water in large amount with kettle or boiler. Not everyone wants to have their house smell of fried food, have to clean it, buy a fryer if necessary, have a possible fire hazard !

@Gangsta Wafflez just because they are getting instant ramen from a vendor doesn't mean they're lazy. It's the same shit as getting a hot dog or sandwich. You're not gonna tell them to go home and make it there so why you saying the same shit about ramen. What if someone's out for lunch from work and want food? I would love to have a stall lady cook any of these it would just make me feel good knowing she cooked it. I SWEAR WATCHING HER COOK MAKES ME WANT THIS RAMYEUN SO BAD, I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL AND HAPPY TO EAT IT. This would be so good to have but in the US there are too many Stupid and Lawsuit happy people. Hand a customer a steaming hot pot of Ramyeun right off the fireand it takes just one Idiot burning their finger or spilling it and there is a lawsuit and it is RUINED FOR EVERYONE. But I have suspected there is a ramen place that I am certain uses packaged Ramyeun and adds to it because the taste is exactly the same and they charge $20+ dollars a bowl and the added ingredients are not even as good as this ladies. In the midwest though they do not know the difference. however it is weird when I see Asians eat there???

For people that are wondering. That whole thing costs around I say $3-4 in terms of Korean currency. A ramen pack can cost $1, she used 1 egg, vegetables, and cheese and she done the whole cooking process. If this was in the U.S. People would be selling this for maybe about $9-12 because of the economy. But I can imagine selling something like this near a college dorm with the same price then maybe they can break and make a profit. But we all know that dream is unlikely.

In Japan, for the same price at a ramen stall, you can get a full bowl of fresh noodles with freshly cooked broth, ramen egg, slices of charsu pork, menma, spring onions, the lot. When you're out running errands and just busy, cold, and hungry, and then you come across this little stand with a kind little lady selling hot, freshly made instant ramen for 2 bucks, with sides, and zero clean up for yourself after? Hell YES, I'd buy a bowl. Happily. That's cheaper than any fast food where I live, and far tastier and satisfying. And far less hassle for me, even with it being instant. Just saving myself from cleaning dishes is worth it. And ramen in Korea (in many eastern countries) is not the same as ramen in western countries. It is serious business, not a trash food, and a highly beloved meal, with many different ingredients and iterations. It may be instant ramen, but there is nothing instant about the additions she's putting into it, and the flavors she's building with those additions.

In Korea, its sometimes more colder than Moscow(In winter Chulwon, the lowest temperture will be about -38℃) so the ramyun's tastes are even better than you thinking.

Is that the traditional pot to make ramen noodles in? I've only ever seen this type of pot being used. I tasted my first Korean brand ramen noodle some months ago and i wish I had known about it sooner. I usually eat Top Ramen, but the korean brand was so much better and chewier.

I love those noodles, they keep the guts nice and frosty, to keep digestion flowing perfectly, don't drink the juice...

I live in Indonesia and there are lots of places like these called Warmindo (Warung makan indomie,) and idk what they do but it just hits different, no matter how hard i try to make it at home. I wish there is one for ramyeon but ramyeon is quite expensive here, and they only sell it in cafes.

I tried the first one. IT WAS AMAAZING. If it’s not very salty, you can add soya sauce
