I’m extremely depressed and I don’t even have kids. This is so sad, and disgusting. How can a human do this? How?

“Words of thoughts and prayers will come from our leaders but I fear change never will.” Well said James.
I'm an American, and I unfortunately agree with this message.

Well spoken James! This country is falling apart. My son school was part of that threat going across the country earlier this year. I was scared to death even for just that day. Seeing all those family's have to actually go threw it. Words can not describe. My heart goes out to all the victims and thier family's. May God rest those poor innocent souls! 💔🙏✝️👼
43 year old dad in the UK here and I remember being a teen when the Dunblane massacre happened here and the shock and the revulsion and the horror and pain we shared collectively. And then the immediate action which stopped it happening again. There's still violence and our young people in cities have to deal with the threat of knife violence. Indeed, this week I've been reading of a case of some deranged attacker on the subway with a machete; there's footage on BRvid. It's horrific how he targeted a random stranger. Lives were changed in that case, but no-one died despite dozens being contained in the carriage during that flash of aggression. Had he had a gun...

I'm a parent and live in Australia. And my heart breaks for the families, teachers and children in Texas!! But you also don't need to be a parent to not understand the extreme sadness this tragedy is. The teachers are an example of how much they care for the children, teachers on the front line doing their job, and these children are family too them. Something has to change!!! It cant continue Enough is enough!! And James says it all.
I live in Uvalde. Everything feels unreal this morning. Our community is in shambles. I thank you, James Corden for your words.

I can't stop crying. I am a grandmother of two beautiful little girls - my heart goes out to the families that lost their loved ones. So sad.... so terribly sad.

Never been a big fan of James Corden. Until now. He said what he wanted to say. He spoke the truth about gun culture in this country. And being a father too he can't even imagine the pain and suffering of these parents. Well said James. As a father/grandfather myself I applaud you sir. Thank-you.
This has hit me super hard as my daughter is the same age as these kids and I lost a beloved family member to a mass shooting. While it’s always horrifying to hear, unless you’ve personally experienced the terror and pain first hand you can never truly comprehend it. It’s been 3 years since the Christchurch massacre and it still haunts me. My heart is broken for these families as there is nothing worse in this whole world than losing a child and to lose them so violently and senselessly where it could have been avoided makes it even more unbearable. I really hope the US gets its act together as this can’t be allowed to go on or ever happen again!

You are right on Mr. Corden. The social structure of our country has become ill in a disgusting way. Prayers for all of the little children and teachers who fell victim and their families. 🙏😢. It's just inconceivable to think how this actually happens once, let alone over and over again. Thank you for those words that need to be said.

Thank you for putting it straight, James. I worry America's leaders will never react to these sorts of messages, but hopefully one day, there will be a leader that will.

Well spoken James. Am also a father from Australia and I dropped my kids at school this morning. My heart bleeds learning about shooting events in USA. Our prayers and thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones ❤💐

I 100% agree to James "America is one of the most backward places in the world " - about mass shooting -- my heart goes out!!!

I was getting goosebumps when he was talking about saying goodbye to your kids and who knows it may be our last goodbyes...I don’t have kids but I’ve siblings that are 10 & 12 years younger than me, and him talking about it scares me. Please cherish every moment with your loved ones and stay safe everyone😔❤️
This was the most heartfelt message out of all the late night show hosts.

I got chills James. Thank you for everything you do and I thank you for this message

My four-year-old implicitly trusts us. When I pick him up and he is climbing over my shoulders he's not thinking he will be dropped. When he's in my arms he does not suspect injury. Children are innocent to the horrors of the world. If I got that phone call, and didn't immediately go into cardiac arrest I would be looking for the quickest way to end my life. Those families. It makes me cry
James, thank you for expressing what so many of us feel. Especially as a teacher, I'm furious that nothing seems to change, as you pointed out.
