Tp - you can avoid a breach ult by teleporting forward Smokes - one-way smokes are extremely useful in every map Flash - moving forwards while flashing makes the flash travel faster, moving backwards makes it slower Ult - when there's 4 seconds left to a KJ ult, you can ult and cancel at the last second to avoid being detained
Tp - always jump+strafe+turn when teleporting. It makes your main body a moving target instead of a static one just in case someone is shooting at you, and it also keeps the enemies confused where you're teleporting to as you are turning your body mid-air. Lastly, sometimes the best tp to make is to tp in place. You can pressure enemies and make them paranoid of your possible location just by having the hear the tp sound, while you are still in a safe position and able to fight with your team.
One important thing you forgot to mention about his nearsight: -if you walk forward while using it it will travel faster -if you walk back while using it it will travel slower That can be important in some situations where you want to blind them asap or just want to retreat.
To anyone who wants to play Omen, know this. His blind is useful but only lasts 2 seconds. If you plan on using it, either be ready to act upon it or have it ready to set up your team for site takeover. Good hunting my fellow Omen mains!
Tip: if ur smoking an entry of a site make sure the smoke isn’t sorta creeping out into the site, and instead push the smoke so it’s right against the walls. Then they will only one entry angle rather than many
I like the video. Just one more tip for the smoke. You can easily create oneways nearly everywhere on every map. You just have to put the green Triangle on corners they are higher. Keep up the great work Mr.Lowlander ❤
I love playing as omen and I found two other ways to use his ult. First if the enemy knows where you are when attempting retake then ult a little further back from your location because they will attempt to get new angles on the other side of the site for some easy kills from behind. Secondly, using the ult for information before a push.
Thank you MrLowlander, sometimes when my team need smokes i pick omen but i didnt know any tricks. Your tips are really useful and i learned a lot! Keep it up!
One great thing about omen is the way his teleports can mess with the Teleport chambers on Bind. You can einher use your C to teleport while using the teleporter thus confusing the enemy with the Sound (gosh thats a confusing description) or when you rush B as Attacker you just ult into the teleport chamber to the left of Window and pick up freekills on everyone who comes through
From my experience as an Omen main, I find that icebox is his best map, considering all the off angles you can get. There is one that I love which is that you can TP on top of B green on Icebox and get a few picks for free.
Practice the shotgun. And play a few rounds. Especially eco with a shotgun in the smoke. Will make the opponents waste until to clear it or make them less likely to push after that
ur lobby is easy bro its like they justs wait for a sec and then shoot , here in mumbai servers even in silver rank they shoot the movement u peek and ofcc never miss oprator shots
I don’t see why this mechanic of omen isn’t talked about enough…. When you pressed e to initiate to smoke, you can change the dark view into a light view, but do not, repeating, do not use the light view for mid-long range smoke, only use it for custom 1 way or close and precise smoking, still, in close range. If you you tries using light view and smoke for your team far away there is a lot of chances you will cast the smoke too low or too high, just not a consistent as dark view as you are able to see exactly where the smoke is touching the wall and the ground or not. Practice a lot if you are not comfortable with dark view, it’s much better I promise.
I play smoke and usually I play Brim on Bind, Fracture, Pearl and Heaven, and Omen on Icebox and Breeze. In the unusual occasion of someone else picking a smoke, I play Breach on Bind and Heaven, Kay/o on Fracture and Breeze, or maybe Skye on Breeze. I feel like there is a lot of room to move with Omen on Breeze, but the map is still too open so I'm trying to learn how to play Harbor on that map. Still, a really useful video! P.S. Cypher on Pearl is underrated, imo
as an omen main, I approve. For the dumb/weird/risky tps, dont be afraid to try them. Sometimes the dumbest tp would work. The only true dumb tp is tping straight to their faces
omen is great on bind and ascent but icebox and pearl he's op! you mentioned some good points but didn't mention the importance of smoking on boxes and fixed wall points to create 1 way smokes or the brilliance of the shrouded steps for sneaky lurk peaks ( for example attacking B side on pearl you can shrouded step from behind the wall to behind B ramp and peak over to 1 tap someone in B hall defenders side etc, or running jump shrouded steps to get deeper into heaven on haven A site, or even the runnning jump shrouded step to fake tp on bind. Talking of bind I find a great strat for his ult is to tell your teammates not to use the teleporter from A - B and then teleport inside the teleporter that opens into B short and get some nice easy kills. I've found that Omen is insane atm when you know how to aggresively push, be it on attack or defence on pretty much every map (breeze and fracture still included but harder)
There's a counter to no.4 on using your ultimate To pick up the spike If the enemy is smart enough, they'll stand on top of the spike That way omen can't tp inside another character's model
It's not that effective when only 1 enemy is blocking the spike. Omen will still be able to pick it up. However, with around 3 people huddling on top of spike, omen cannot spawn close enough to the spike anymore.
Tip for Omen teleport shenanigans: When you plan to TP to scare the enemies offsite, it's good to wait before showing yourself again. As soon as you show yourself to the enemies, they know exactly where you are and they don't have to panic search anymore. As long as you are hidden your position is unknown to them.
Smurfs will hose down every one of your smokes so a good trick is using your smokes to make simulate a push. I've clutched a tonne of rounds on Breeze by smoking off B main while coming from Arches. TP as close to B Pillar as you can get and start popping heads.
i played the game and immediately mained yoru literally because of how batshit insane he sounds and then i got tired of getting stomped and so i swapped to kayo but then i felt like kayo felt too all-round and boring then i saw omen mf is a controller that has teleports im curerntly doing his contract rn im still pretty new to the game and oh boy does transitioning from csgo to valorant feel different
theres another way to use the shroud steps is being a complete rat and tping behind the enemys (sometimes even knifing them) (i once did that on fracture xD)
True, but this is quite difficult to do since the gun may drop randomly around the dead enemy. Unless you or your teammate can ping the exact spot of the gun, attempting this trick mostly results to failure
@Razz yoru in his ult can do that too. He can even drop guns in his ult, so you can take weapon for yourself and give another for your teammate on eco rounds
Your blind/paranoia ability messes with your opponent's audio. If you blind someone you can teleport past and behind them without them knowing and get free knife kills.
