@Captanblue theres also a game for it! theres a wakfu game and one called dofus, very similiar but i think wakfu has things and characters from the show. i didnt watch or play wakfu but i played dofus since like 2007 and it has a very special place in my heart :D
I wrote a comment here a couple days ago explaining what show it is but it seems to have been deleted for some reason. It's called Wakfu, available on Netflix
I love how this guys power is super speed, and instead of just running to a different location when he heard his father his first thought was to throw his cap
1. Glad the guy managed to take the gun and save himself. 2. Super impressed that the dad called the police, common sense truly is the greatest power of them all
@walter hey bro I completely forgot that comment I made on BreachyGriffin’s video if that’s what you were referring to 😂 I don’t remember why I made that comment but I think I was trying to become some sort of inside joke.
@MrNonovan I mean, tbh people been using that line for a long time. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it over the years Edit: "As such and such, I can confirm" to be specific
“Look, I couldn’t care less that you’re the Red Blur right now, okay? It’s tax season.” As someone who’s taken a personal money management class, I can confirm that when filing taxes, you could tell me literally anything and I wouldn’t be bothered to care about it until I’m free of the worst fate of all: taxes.
@Seth Jones That's not really a drawback right? I guess it technically is but I thought for something to be a drawback it had to be a product of something. Nevermind then.
The funniest thing about this, is the super hero doesn't wear a mask. Yet, his father identifies him as the super hero not because he saw his face on the news, but because he saw the cape.
When reading through Invincible I loved that there was a part that both Mark and Eve got called out for being Invincible and Atom Eve respectively. Guy: "Very well. Mark, Samantha... Please, do come inside." They start to give a "How did you--?" and the dude straight up says "Are you kidding me? You're not even wearing a mask!" (edited to show the actual quotes)
s CalebCity doesn't make content that's particularly at risk of banishment, so it's unlikely that they'd do something more than some unwarranted demonetization. I do see your point, however, and won't deny the possibility of him getting outright banned for who knows what. If that happens, he'd be better off at Hollywood. For now, though, just doing BRvid is safer, and he probably gets enough money from BRvid to survive the eventuality that BRvid does ban him.
@C L ye, basically nothing Caleb is doing would’ve flown in Hollywood- and he’s prolly making more money off YT than activity in a movie anyways, his prop costs are literally in the double digits at most.
This is one of the things about superheroes I always found odd. It makes perfect sense not to let the whole world know it's you, but any family member or really close friend worth their salt is going to keep that information safe.
Well most heroes tells their closest family about it. Some outliers like Peter Parker doesn't but then that plays into Peters character flaw that he has to do everything by himself.
Not every family member and friend is "worth their salt". If even one of them didn't understand the need for secrecy or take it seriously or just weren't cautious even if they did take it seriously the secret would be out and you couldn't take it back; barring a Doctor Strange type rearranging the universe for you.
"Plausible deniability" It's why the president isn't told a lot of military stuff unless he explicitly asks. Essentially, if they don't know, they can't be tortured/brainwashed into revealing the secret.
I like how genuinely shocked the dad is that the son didn't help. Like, he was already cool with him being a hero. That saves like 10 issues of comic pages right there.
I remember when lex Luther removed the flash's mask only to be confused and say "who is this?" Because the flash's normal identity is just mundane. Batman ,on the other hand, is the idiot who maintains a huge social presence as Bruce Wayne.
God loves us sinners that he willingly died for us so we can repent for our sins. Come to Christ before time runs out. There’s never a guarantee for tomorrow. We either go to two places when we die heaven or hell but Jesus opened the pathway to heaven for us. God loves you. Repent and come to him before it’s too late islam is a way to hell but jesus is the way to heaven.
That’s your mistake see when you get confronted by your dad you have to fake a fight to storm to your room that way you can leave out your room to save the citizen. Took me awhile to figure it out
So should I be concern by the fact that your son is that bad at concealing his identity or by the fact that he let multiple people die by trying do hide it ?
@BaeLoverSince19thMarch that's what I thought he said too until I saw this comment and checked again. Would have been better if the dad did have super speed too lol.
Could also do a video on the whole "I have to keep my secret and push people away for their own safety" trope, when it only ever puts others in more danger and makes no sense.
Nah I don't want to see Caleb on movies or TV, maybe advertisements. He gets better fans that way and only the most distinguished gentlemen follow his socials. This is his realm, creating his own content from his own ideas and experiences and doing whatever he wanted and taking all the steps he needs to get there. Legend
The best part about this, was how caleb didnt use a recording of his voice for the mugging happening in the background, he actually went to chicago and this happened right outside his house- he and his dad just sat there awkwardly thinking caleb was going to save them, but he will always keep his secret safe
Not gonna lie every time I see a Calebcity video I always hope the Time Loop guy will come back through the door and say “hey I’m here for the interview” 😭
@Mark Andrew Simple converses with friends, co-workers, etc. People can easily say the superheroes name and subconsciously you end up saying your child or friends name instead when referring to that individual. In that moment it may of been nothing and you can say it was a slip up. With the dumbest excuse you can think of. The person may think nothing of it. Yet the seed has already been planted. That same person can joke with another person about how you said so and so name when referring to that hero. Then all it takes is people then pondering about it longer. Questioning where you are the same time those heroic acts happen. If not monitoring you like in the vid just to see if you'll vanish while something tragic is taking place. It's literally how the Joker out of all the villains Batman has ever faced was the only person who put real thought into Bruce Wayne's whereabouts every time Batman showed up. It's the same way small slip ups by criminals is how cops find criminals who've committed the crime. Same way men get caught cheating by accidentally saying the wrong woman's name when expressing his love towards his partner and then her looking deeper into it. Slip ups happen a lot. Thus the best person to keep a secret is yourself.
@Mark Andrew Lol you think people don't slip up? The only best person to keep a secret is yourself. This way you have the security of knowing it never gets told. Same time you aren't putting your family in a predicament where they have to lie about it and fold under pressure. If not get questioned and slip up accidentally by rigorous questions.
My favorite part is when his dad pretty much told him he had powers too. I'd feel stupid as shit about lying about it, and letting that person outside get mugged. Good job.
I've seen recently where superheroes tell their close friends and family because they know they're trustworthy, but I want to see the opposite. Like, the superhero's mom would be so proud and so supportive that she'd tell everybody because she's also an incorrigible gossip.
This I why static only told his dad & mom (mom called him my little super hero when he was little because of time travel episode which made dad more chill after finding out) but not sister (big gossip her boyfriend was a hero & she told the world)
I mis-read that, and thought you meant that the mom would be a super villain. The idea of a super villain mom SPECIFICALLY being proud of their hero kid is cracking me up.
This reminds me of an episode of Spectacular Spider-man where Peter got away with getting caught in his spidey suit by calling it a costume for a party. I think they did something similar in Young Justice. When a hero is incredibly popular in universe as long as you act casual no one would ever suspect you’re them even if you show up in costume. That or you can just tell everyone. Who actually cares and your loved ones won’t be in any more danger than they already always are by living in the same city as you…
