Klay’s clutch 3 at the end of the game was so satisfying to watch. Injuries can slow him down but can't stop him from still being one of the greatest shooter ever🔥🔥🔥🔥
People mad at Poole for careless mistakes, but he's still learning! Can't imagine the pressure he has being in a championship caliber team/culture. He will be the future face of the Warriors, so appreciate his journey getting there, good or bad!
@adam45899 Curry was having an MVP caliber season prior to his injury. Not sure what you’re talking about he has looked more dominant than he has in the past. Handles the ball better, less turnovers, stronger and better at finishing at the rim. Honestly the dubs look better than they were last year and I can guarantee you they’ll atleast make it to western conf finals…
He's being groomed to be the next Draymond, obviously- not that there can be but, the role. His D is improving but still needs work. Thats where his long-term value is, and if he wants to stay on this team. The offense is just bonus and will come in handy, if..
The drama, the actions, the intensity, the play, the passion, the game. You will see everything here. Respect for both teams. They really want to beat each other.
People have to start appreciating Klay Thompson. At his age and after all those injuries, in january he is averaging an insane 27 points per game on 42% from three and making big shots again and again. Freaking incredible how much he got better after that slam from Barkley
Who doesn’t appreciate Klay? He’s a straight out 3 pt assassin! Without him we wouldn’t be champions. He’s a Splash Brother but we gonna have to add Donte as the third Splash Brother, he can knock down those threes with no hesitation!
@Scam Likely you don’t put up 50 point games when you’re washed. He’s shooting over 40% from 3 in his last 20 games. He had a slow start and needed to work himself into playing shape bc he didn’t train in the offseason due to him worrying he’d get injured. Once his mentally is strong come playoff time he’ll be solid
I swear if Poole doesn’t start holding onto the basketball my head is going to explode. He’s incredible at iso, screens, shooting, and just general good energy. But he needs to work on ball control and passing SOON. Can’t be doing this Post - Season
@Brady Bingham he’s still learning. Lotta pressure on him and he gets anxious in big moments. He’s just gotta calm down and slow down a bit. It’ll come with experience
@Devin Hobdy I hope that it’s a central point of his training regime right now. I think IQ and ball control would complete his offensive package, luckily those are able to be learned overtime in the league
@Brady Bingham you're absolutely right. but warriors basketball (in this era) has always been turnover heavy, with Steph being the biggest offender haha. i think we just have to give Jordan some time!
@kameron his ball control is not elite, he turns the ball over more than any other player on the team. That is not control, he is flashy. By the way I am a fan of Poole, I just want him to develop his awareness and stop these pointless turnovers. He has the right tools and attitude he just needs to execute betters
Jordan Poole is the future of the warriors! I love it!! Shout out to the people orchestrating these players together. You can see how it's slowly transitions from the veteran team to the fresh players. There's so much arsenal in the warriors line up. Curry and Co. just elevates everyones skills
He's being groomed to be the next Draymond, obviously- not that there can be but, the role. His D is improving but still needs work. Thats where his long-term value is, and if he wants to stay on this team. The offense is just bonus and will come in handy, if..
and crazy thing is he has like a good 6 more yrs left in him maybe? so that's makes it even more insane. no one in era has a chance of chance of catching up.
Jordan Poole is literally the definition of a roller coaster 😂 I just cussed him out like 5 times for his bad mistakes and then he hits game winning shot and I’m yelling LFG JP!!!
Jp almost cost us the game with some bad mistakes in the 4th quarter, but he came through in the clutch and won us the game!!! Great bounce back from him. The clutch 3, and the look at Memphis bench from Klay...he hates the Grizzlies with a passion, and I love it 😭💛💙
Great game by both teams. Splash Brothers. Ja leading his team. Many players contributed. Playoffs dream matchup. For those who watched the postgame, not just the game: nice fact shared when Kerr stated that Draymond called the game winning play
@LeUltraInstinct Well, Steph Curry is the current Best 3 Point Shooter and has the track record to back his accomplishments. What have the likes of young Ja, Dillon & Jaren accomplished, I politely ask you? Hmmm ... I thought so. Have a nice day!!!
@Marcus Watson it was a great play design and a pass that had a small window. If Donte didn’t put that in the perfect spot it would have been a turnover so yeh pretty good play
Don't know if anyone else noticed too - but that last DiVincenzo to Poole pass and layup is pure razzle dazzle. Poole is talking a blue streak, waving his arms, pointing and looking in every direction - and zing - fast as a snake to a perfect pass !
Klay , Steph and Green , have a different gear in games that truly matter to them. There were some seasons when they were much younger they wanted to win every single game. Those yrs are over they're old vets now and mindset has changed. Still the most dangerous team to face in the Off's.
Theyre now like the Larry Bird Celts. Old crafty vets who know how to win when it matters. Despite their record if they stay healthy will be a very tough out come playoff time.
exactly, there basically in the mode of: LOOK. GET US IN THE PLAYOFFS, WHEN IT MATTERS, NO MATTER WHO WE PLAY WE'LL GET IT DONE. The problem with this logic: WE are the 10th seed at the moment, we need to start winning to get out of the play in.
Grizz fan here . Outstanding game ! Nobody can force us to play like these Warriors can! We are not there yet - but we are definitely on our way! This felt like a playoff game. Congratulations to the Warriors… heckuva game!
@SqweepsYT you guys will get there. Remember it took the Warriors three playoff exits before they finally broke through. It’s the same with almost every good team. They need to experience the playoffs intensity, the losing, and after the experience they gain from those years they eventually get over the hump.
I just want the grizzlies to back up all the stuff they’ve been talking. As a grizz fan, kinda getting tired of being a butt of the joke Everytime we lose to the warriors.
I need these two teams in a series idc what the playoff standings are. This is entertaining basketball!! Great game from everyone, glad my dubs won tho 😂 💛💙
Everyone played their role and got the job done. S/O to Donte for the pass and Jordan being aware of his surroundings to cut through and get the ball. JK showed out as well! This was such an entertaining game to watch, typical Warriors game where they have you stressed one second then jumping/cheering the next then have ambulance on standby then calm the next etc 😂😂😂
The intensity and competitiveness between the grizzlies and warriors was both thrilling and entertaining and both superstars did not disappoint in this matchup overall with Stephen curry and ja Morant going at each other overall. The only thing and big reason the grizzlies by lost this game was the free throw shooting particularly ja Morant missing 5 free throws was huge in this game that opened the door and this next couple weeks without Steven Adams they need jaren Jackson Jr to show up and play well if they want to maintain there position.🏀💯
Every time these two teams go at it each other they just always have those crazy games But man the Warriors would’ve gotten pissed if Jordan Poole missed that lay in
After all the garbage the Grizzlies talked in the off-season, the Warriors sure have proved it at this point. Regardless of how their regular season is going right now, they're the better team without a doubt.
@Ultimate Yagerman We're a joke bro? Ja literally griddied on your court when you got knocked out of the playoffs, I'm sure that felt great in Minny buddy, wolves fan mad because their entire franchise is about to be 6 feet under for the next 10 years?? Cope harder
@LeUltraInstinct I think your correct about the attention thing. What is wrong with saying that. People are so sensitive about someone telling the truth. Curry likes the attention and in many ways deserves it. With the tension in that game everything seems a little extra.
That last play that Draymond called was hilarious cause they hadn’t ran it in months and you can see Draymond telling Lamb “ stand right there!!! “ lmao thank god Lamb got out the way in time for Poole to make the cut 😂
I love when these 2 teams face off. Great games as a grizzlies fan. But it sure does suck going on this losing streak now.. all of them very close games as well :/ oh well not too worried everyone is playing really good ball recently.
@Yaboiyikes yo u really took the time to type this out and copy and paste on all these comments curry living in ur head rent free😂😂😂 and before u say common curry fan I’m a heat fan 💀
I remember Ron Artest's shot in the 2010 Playoffs. They also had a fresh shot clock and then Artest also settled for 3 points, but he was the one who won that game also, Now JP same thing. 🔥
@liam&ian gaming the reason i said they have a 50/50 chance against those teams is because injury but a fully healthy suns and pelicans they aint got no chance..
This was a good game and I have to say when Golden State play like last night no NBA team can beat them they are a scary team but I still think Memphis Grizzlies is missing something we have shooters, but we don't have a big men who can average at least 10 to 15 a game in the paint along with rebounds and if they go after that who goes an still keep the others happy or is it the coach which is very good but the problem could be the team not listening anyway stay tune we will see
@druv Yeah, you're right. Also, they're asking too much from him. I understand that they pay him a lot of money, but they can't forget that he's still a new player in the NBA and has a lot to learn. Sometimes I think they expect way too much from him like he was Curry o Thompson. He actually plays better than both on occasions but can't carry the team on his shoulders. I blame the coach for that.
This game was so infuriating to watch live, the crazy & stupid calls by the refs it felt like neither team got their groove until the 3rd quarter I was screaming at my tv the whole time “LET THEM PLAY BASKETBALL” I’m glad the Warriors got the W but they need to cut down on turnovers and I swear the refs want to make it difficult for the dubs :(
@Justin Krizenesky Passing and rebounding are both as good or better than before injuries, at least in January. Decision making is back up there but yea his defense needs to improve a bit
Fun fact: Draymond was the reason behind that final play Poole did. Warriors trusted Poole’s quickness to get the final play and the results showed. Gotta give the props to Draymond ‘cause the anxiety was real this game. ‘Til next game, Memphis. 🙏🏽💪🏾 #dubnation #whoopdattrick #norivalry
Draymond is the glue that makes this team work. He reminda me of Bird with his savvy and intelligence for the game. They go nowhere without him playing at his best. He's been doing this since his Michigan State days....
STEPH HOLD UP YOUR HEAD MY MAN!!!!! YOUR TEAM IS STILL THE APPLE OF THIS BASKETBALL GRANNY’S EYE!!!! PROUD OF YOU ALL!! #CHARLOTTENC#1BASKETBALLGRANDMA🎉🎉🎉
Poole learns a lot with this game. He learns when to become aggressive or to become wise(milking the time). Poole will always remember this with how Curry threw his mouthpiece. 😅But good redemption for Poole's part.
@Jimmy Cheese last time I checked, regular season standing doesn’t mean a thing when you fumble in the playoffs. Warriors got the best regular season record of 73-9 in 15-16 season yet can lost in the playoffs. So idk why you’re looking at the standing now and not at the championship.
@Jimmy Cheese y’all said that every time but fluke when it matters. Btw didn’t y’all call yourself a dynasty too? When y’all haven’t won shit to back it up. All talk, but fumble when it’s time to walk. Ja & Grizzlies are a great team in the making but too much ego and trash talking too much to be respected.
