@Over easy eggs You're thinking about it WAY too hard. People laugh... it's not that complicated. Editing it out doesn't improve the quality, so why waste the effort doing it? Few people are actually bothered by it, most people don't care, and some (like the OP) enjoy it. It's not "forced," it's just nobody cares enough to edit it out. There's no point.

The pyramid is a snapshot of how good the players are right now, Jokic in december, is averaging 31pts, 13.5 rebs, 9.3 assists, 2 stls, and 1 block per game, on insane efficiency. There is no such thing as a player better than him at this time.

@Filipe every one who have seen how the modern NBA works. Forwards and Wings are just so much more important than centers, and it's so much easier to build around an athletic forward that can shoot, pass and dribble than to build around a non-athletic center that plays a unique style and pace and that you have to constantly adjust around on defense because has the lateral mobility of a 63yo. Jokic is extremely talented, don't get me wrong, but team building is so much easier when you have the prototype of the player every team wants instead of a super unique guy that we've never really seen before.

PS: I looooove how you talk about this season only, and only like 20% of the game. Where is the other 30% (fast break, FG%, Blocks, Rebounds), and the other 50% (defence)? Winning??? @Saul Silver You do know 50% of the game is played on the defensive end? and also rebounds help u create more offensive opportunities and giannis averages almost 4 minutes less per game bcz he ussualy destroys teams and does not need to play more to generate more stats. And he destroys teams BCZ HE is the best defender in the NBA period. I sware people forget that 50% of the game is on defense

@Gysahl Fields all you said about Giannis vs Luka were lies. Giannis leads NBA in usage rate. Luka had more steal (x2 than Giannis), same TO per game, FT 73% Luka to 64% Giannis, better 3pt shooter. And advanced stats, Luka is behind Jokic, in WS, BPM, 3rd in PER, #1 VORP. Luka should be averaging 10+ AST if his teammates able to complete it. He is 2nd to Halliburton in AST %.

I have to say, Nick is very slick. Luka went to WCF and Jokic got bounced in round 1. He just forgets to say they lost to the same team in a gentleman sweep after being down 3-0. Clearly Chris has no idea who Franz Wagner is.. wonder why he singled him out? Every player he mentioned is far worse, and on the same row as Wagner you have Clarkson, Drey, CJ, CP3 & Grant at the very least who he’s miles better and more valuable than right now. Each of those teams would have to add multiple 1st round picks if they wanted to trade that player for Franz. Watch more teams than the Nets and Lakers Chris!
