Hey Kris, Have you ever thought of putting the iPad in between the two yokes? I did it on my baron and it seem to work out great.

Throughout my videos you will see the iPad in many locations as I have experimented to search for the perfect location. This is an older video and you will find on my newest videos that I have gone with a mini in between the two yikes. For now it’s my default setup.

Power and signal or audio cables do not like to be near each other. Not the device's fault. The current in the power wires causes the noise. Kind of like ignition noise in vehicles.

Kim is very smart with very good question. I learn a lot a new experience from her questions and from the great pilot Baron responses 😊💎🌹🦋

Adding/Inserting the airport diagram with your taxi clearance was a very nice touch. Thank you. I recently started watching your videos and I am really enjoying them. At about 5:30 - 5:40, I thought I saw a bag on the floor of the right side of cockpit. Is it your experience that there is little chance of it sliding forward, perhaps during runway braking, and interfering with the brakes and rudder controls?

@Flying SIC Thank you to you both!

As Kim mentioned, the peddles are adjustable and are pushed forward. She also keeps the bag away during takeoff and landing

John nukecop I hold my bag with my foot if it is down there although the pedals are pushed back to give more room also.

My gf and I made a game out reading the comments here. Every time someone asked if Kim was BP's daughter, we took a shot of Fireball. By the time we were through, we each had a hell of a buzz on. Such a worn out line! I can never tell if it's a thinly veiled expression of disapproval or just good-natured ribbing born out of mild jealousy but either way it's so tired and old I don't understand why anybody even says it.

And still others work hard and are good to other people and for some odd reason, good things come to them in life. Not always or consistently but BP and myself as well are living proof that it can and does happen.

Flying to a cruise is like two vacations in one! We flew the Peter O Knight Airport to take a cruise a few years ago. The airport parking fee for the plane was close to the cruise port fee to park the car. I would rather fly than drive any day so it was an easy decision!

Whats the deal with all these pilots on youtube flying with big breasted woman on their videos? Ohhhhh.
Ira van den Heuvel
Ira van den Heuvel 5 meses atrás
@Jay Berkowitz I would watch anyway but the ladies are a bonus. That said, I don't always have a busty woman in the right seat when I fly but when I do, I enjoy the flight a bit more. Can't blame anyone else for doing the same.

The rudder peddles on the Baron are adjustable. On the co-pilot side they have been pushed all the way forward. But as a rule you are correct. 😉

Paul Bergman

YeshuamyKing53 Have you been in a small single engine or twin aIrcraft? Have you had the opportunity to fly over interesting landscape, or visit a place only accessible by plane, or it takes too long to drive in a day, but I can fly there, or see something you can only see from a plane down low? Or just take the controls and try it out? That is the fascination. Freedom to Fly!

Same problem can happen with the GoPros if you use some external mikes....found that out the hard way. I think it's an impedance mis-match or something.

You could transition to a VFR and fly the coast like you wanted. Did you stay IFR for landing sequencing?
Tyler Russell
Tyler Russell Anos atrás
@Baron Pilot after I got my Instrument Rating, I find I rarely use VFR. I like having the plan made up front and all (well most) in flight airspace transitioning done by ATC and not having to worry as much about cloud clearances and landing sequences. I agree in busy airspace IFR is easier. Flying to KOSH last year, I flew VFR for a bit enroute from TX, and to be honest, it made me more nervous than I expected. It was busy leaving my home airport and my ADS-B was lit up. Upon reaching KOSH, I realized that was nothing compared to RIPON at the end of the trip, but either way, it made me appreciate the protection that flying IFR affords. Maybe I'm out of practice with flying VFR, but I did appreciate the simplicity of clearance to leave and going as I want. I appreciate your great videos and the time you take to explain things. I like the technical talk as I'm always looking to learn from BRvidr pilots. Helps keep me fresh.
Baron Pilot
Baron Pilot Anos atrás
Absolutely, that is an option. Personally I prefer to remain IFR, especially in busy airspace. But there is nothing wrong with doing that and maybe one day I will show that in a video.

You made ATC look really there. Subtle but noticeable was the fact ATC was task saturated. She gave you continual inbound; I never heard "clear to land" until you prompted her. Good job.
