Unreal that a song recorded 20 years ago “that didn’t make the cut” is better than any song released currently. What a special gift this band has. The emotion that mike and Chester always bring is so raw and real, because it is real and not just trying to make a popular track. Thank you for saving these gems for when we needed them most LP, this track is far more appreciated now than the shadow it possibly would have been in 20 years ago

To anyone that needs to hear this: You are strong, you are special, you are unique. You bring something to this world that nobody else can. Keep fighting for yourself. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but you have to keep moving forward to get there. If you are having a hard time, just know I love you, no matter who you are. You are worthy of being loved. Love yourself no matter what, and try to do good things for others. The unconditional love you give to others will be returned to you.

I feel like this group was truly created for introverts. Let's be honest here for a minute. Introverts feel on a level that extroverts will never have an understanding of. I'm 36 and I've been listening to LP for over 20 years, and I have YET to meet an extrovert that has felt this music on a level anywhere close to what we introverts feel. This band/group is almost literally our anthem. We've been feeling something from them on a level that makes us feel so alive and makes us feel emotions that we don't normally get on a day to day basis that we crave. We're always looking for something that makes us feel deeply and it's like we've found a home here. Those of us that have been here since the beginning have had the honor of this insane level of music for the way we feel that most generations don't normally get, or at least on a level that only we ourselves understand. Tyler, or anyone from LP, if literally any of you read this, I just want you to know that you literally made an entire generation of kids/teens feel like they actually belonged to something, and we are eternally grateful for all of you.

Yes, and also fun fact: you can clearly as day see how well music was made back in the day. Everything from Meteora forward was really astray from the essence. Weather someone like it or not, those are the facts.
@kajag5232
@kajag5232 8 meses atrás
@@moonspell-FGC That's your opinion though, at the end of the day. Dunno what you really mean by "essence". It's actually a good thing when bands move on and experiment instead of rehashing the same sound and method time and time again. And that's exactly what LP did over the years.
@moonspell-FGC
@moonspell-FGC 8 meses atrás
@@kajag5232 development is good when a band is able to hold to it's roots. A lot of bands lost that during the evolution. At some point it was not evolution anymore but massive mainstream pop-like production. One album after another, all alike. The crossover that they had was gone - too soft. That is a fact one may like that music other don't, that my friend is subjective. You might grasp what I mean in time, or may not but that is really irrelevant. Meteora is still one of my favorite albums of all time and even though these guys chose a different musical approach the years that followed they will always be in my heart.

Unrealeased tracks from 20 years? Dude Chester's voice was made with AI. Its a software that copies artists voices. The same they did with the song Lost. The AI read the song and replicates similar notes and exactly the voice you want.

Chester, you left a scar, but it's one we will never hide. The life we are living is a song and you wrote the lyrics. To those who feel lost and feel all alone, remember, there is always light after the dark. I know what it feels like to think no one knows your pain and wouldn't understand. Where you just want to curl up in a ball, somewhere dark and just cry yourself to sleep. But remember, it's in our darkest hours that we became our strongest. Chester, you will always live on in our hearts. You left us too soon, you had so much more to give. I'm sorry we couldn't be there for you. But you were there for us....... ❤️

LYRICS: Now, sometimes these thoughts in my head speak so loud Every little thing that I think about just built on top of the pain and doubt Even though I wanna just let it out, I Try to act like I don’t mind it, try to keep my mouth so quiet But sittin’ there in my silence, just seems to amplify it When I thought that keepin’ this inside would make it better I never thought that I would end up ruining it forever But everytime I think, I got everything put back together I end up making more regrets, making more regrets [Chorus: Chester Bennington] Falling from grace, I watch it all come apart Knowing I could’ve changed it all from the start Fighting myself, I always lose Fighting myself, I always lose [Verse 2: Mike Shinoda] I didn’t want you to think I’m worn out so easily I wish I’d held in, so you never knew what built up inside of me Now, I don’t know how it overflows, spill out unwillingly But now, everything that I learned to hate came out for you to see I don’t want you to promise you can change everything and make it better ‘Cause you can bet, I’m gonna end up ruining it forever But everytime I think, I got everything put back together I end up making more regrets, making more regrets [Chorus: Chester Bennington] Falling from grace, I watch it all come apart Knowing I could’ve changed it all from the start Fighting myself, I always lose Fighting myself, I always lose Falling from grace, I watch it all come apart Knowing I could’ve changed it all from the start Fighting myself, I always lose Fighting myself, I always lose [Bridge: Chester Bennington] I can’t run with this weight on my back I can’t see ’cause I’m focused on the past I can’t breathe, I need to break free From the anger that is constantly inside of me I can’t run with this weight on my back I can’t see ’cause I’m focused on the past I can’t breathe, I need to break free From the anger that is constantly inside of me [Outro: Chester Bennington] Falling from grace, I watch it all come apart Knowing I could’ve changed it all from the start I can’t breathe, I need to break free From the anger that is constantly inside of me Falling from grace, I watch it all come apart Knowing I could’ve changed it all from the start I can’t breathe, I need to break free From the anger that is constantly inside of me

Linkin Park got me through the struggle of adolescence with Hybrid Theory, i remember that Red CD being played every single day for about a year straight multiple times a day at times. Then Meteora came out and its like they brought everything II was absollutely mind blown over from Hybrid Theory, and delivered another end to end album of even more amazing music, songs, technique, skill, relatability, perspective that Meteora became an instant Timeless part of my llfe and that Red Hybrid theory CD and the Gray Meteora CD i remember them being scratched so much, solely just because they were played so many times, just standard use... really put them through the ringer... I got out of Linkin Park as i got older and my tastes refined as you would expect in 20+ years. I always held Linkin Park as a staple in my life, but I didnt revisit them often, until this last year I found Hybrid Theory and Meteora on Vinyl and knew I needed them.... i was goiing through the most intense point of my life having lost everything I ever cared for. Being manipulated, deceived, taken advantage of, gaslit, abused every possible way. by person after person.. everything was crumbling around me i lost my family, my job, my home, my car, my sobriety... and almost lost myself... but I played those records from start to finish and it was like it was meant to be... I forgot just how much the message aligned with my experiences.. It was like listening to both of the albums for the very first time again.. It was such a powerful experience, an emotional roller coaster., every song one after another just was even more relatable than the last... and it gave me something I desperately needed: it put things in perspectiive when i had given up on everything.. and made me realize I didnt lose everything yet.... there is still time to save what i love and repair from the damage I have allowed to wreck havoc on my life... I have really been on an amazingly powerful and positive journey the last 6 months, returning from the darkest possible depths of hopelessness and given up and pity and self loathing, regret, rumination, and self destructive PTSD... I really turned a page I never thought I could do thanks to these albums.... Then I saw Meteora Anniversary re-release and heard Lost and Fighting Myself for first time and I was in tears... This is incredible... and I am so blessed to have had this chance to experience this from all the band mates, bless you all for your work and its tremendous impact on this world... most of all mine... Thank you all for being there... Even you Chester... because you are forever imprinted on the hearts and minds of an unthinkable amount of people who needed the work you all have given this world, and you have made so many of us feel like we were finally not alone for once. As clique as it is to say, and so I have a hard time saying it... but its far too accurate to not be said.... You all changed and saved my life... and my Life is forever affected in a massively powerful way that will forever be tied to the impact that Linkin Park played on my youth and this last year. Thank you for that...
