@julian marx lmao what? Francis would snap fury in half in the octagon with ease Low diff Do you realize that mma striking is way different than boxing? Francis would probably kill fury in the octagon Furys leg would get broken after one leg kick And francis has devastating power in his kicks Elbows knees And combine that with boxing and clinch work And its over Do you even realize how much stronger mma fighters are than boxers ? Francis would slam fury on his head and kill him
@Tista Kere No in MMA it'd be a dive to a single leg and a quick sub. Murder is Tyson Fury battering Ngannou's brains in for 36 minutes. Ngannou has a great chin, no skills, and Fury doesn't hit hard enough to put Ngannou out quickly, so unless Fury showboated and had fun, the beating would end Ngannou's career and possibly impact his mental wellbeing (I hope he doesn't take the fight, it'd be awful to watch)
I didn’t notice it until Francis said something because he’s already a huge star to me but they don’t promote him properly for him being the HW champion. It’s super strange. The first two episodes of this fight weeks Embedded has one whole minute of footage of him.
Why in TF would any sane person care to make ESPN more money? Whats the logic in saying well its only 5 bucks when at first they were free with plus, then they made you pay in addition just like it was under Directv or whatever carrier, now its 75 and soon itll be 80 because hey, its only 5 bucks right? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
"It would be great for him to be here, but Jon's probably better off at home." I hate how true that is. Imagine a face-off post-fight if the fight ends in spectacular fashion.
The disrespect to Stipe is insane. He is the heavyweight GOAT and not once has his name been mentioned since losing to Ngannou. That trilogy fight should've been made immediately.
I agree with you 100%. I think for me, the fact that Stipe is such a real guy when he's not in the Octagon, makes him almost a superhero. We need more class acts in sports.
No mate Stipe didn't want it....... And I love Stipe.... He didn't want the second fight for some reason....... Came in underweight and unfit........ don't know why....... but he wasn't up for the second fight..... And if he really wnted a third one he would be shouting about it.... Just saying...... And I loe Stipe.
Brett: what are you most excited about this weekend? Dana: Conor's a big star. That kid can fight and he'll fight anyone, anytime, anymore. He called me begging for Diego Sanchez
What Conor did, was disgusting. NYPD is after him. The kids in a lot of trouble. Chiesa got glass in his eyes. We scheduled a title shot for him next and we got all the footage for marketing.
Love these Dana interviews, don't really get much solid info out of him but just know that there's a big fight around the corner U can feel the fan in Dana getting excited, obviously he's promoting the event but he still has the rubbing his hands together feel
Stipe got knocked out his last fight, why would there be a discussion about him especially considering this fight has nothing to do with Stipe? No pun intended, I'm a fan of Stipe and still feel he has a little left at 40, but I'm sure if Stipe wants to fight and Jon doesn't, Stipe will probably get that 3rd fight with Francis. Not to mention, Stipe said he wanted time off.
What do you expect to be asked? Lmao, he's talking about the fight card this weekend. Do you want questions about COVID, transgender fighters and the mafia?
@Little Warbucks the fighter can announce it whenever they want, usada doesnt make announcements until the process is complete because fighters were being outed as having failed tests then months later being cleared as having accidentally taken a tainted supplement. it's not a conspiracy
@Garnet Samuel actually that's not totally true bro, Yoel Romero fought for a title after returning from a 6 month suspension, but I also support some things U say coz these people saying he's popped again aren't informed on the matter, if he popped again he's up for a LIFETIME BAN coz it will be his third strike, 2 years is for ur first offence, so it's not possible he would only get 2 years again
what dana has done for this sport is never short of amazing, say what you want about him with fighter pay etc....if it wasnt for dana we wouldnt have UFC!
Dana's saying they've fight booked until May but Diaz's been calling out Poirier for 6 months now. UFC is clearly not willing to make that fight for whatever reasons.
@Owen S except very possibly Stipe and Ngannou, still. Gane looked great against Lewis, but Lewis is a punching bag and its too early to say what Gane's real level is. If he schools Ngannou, then he's the best striker in HW UFC history
The fact that Dana is excited for Jon Jones' return who's almost at the end of his career and who thinks $10mil confirmed pay is an insult to him, is perfectly okay with Ngannou not re-signing with them while he is the champ with increasing popularity and huge potential of being a star. There's something definitely wrong with the UFC. They handled Ngannou very poorly.
I had to laugh when Dana said Jon Jones will be at home watching the fight and seeing how this plays out. I think that’s his favorite catchphrase. He likes it so much he’s got other people using it.
"It would be great for him to be here, but Jon's probably better off at home." I hate how true that is. Imagine a face-off post-fight if the fight ends in spectacular fashion.
Here’s how it’s gonna play out with Jon Jones Gane wins: send me the contract Dana 5mil will do. Francis wins: I want 50mil JB wants no part of Ngannou
@Billy Bats ⚾ I don't really recall times when someone who made a lot less sense than Tony got booked instead of him. like at the end of the day they were contractually obligated to fight each other five times, and things got in the way of that on both ends.
@Dopeocalypse Now khabib was down to fight him when he HAD to. That's for sure. When he had everything to gain and Tony was a necessary step to getting the belt. That's when he would've fought him. That's a fact. They're were times when he was definitely down to fight Tony. But he didn't want any part of him during that little window when Tony was at his Pinnacle. They're was too much for him to lose and he knew at that point Tony was running out of time on his body. So many years went by, that it became a viable option to just duck him for that last one.
@Billy Bats ⚾ I wouldn't say he didn't want it, he signed a contract for it 5 times, both of them did. But for various injuries and reasons, both of them had to pull out of the fight more than once.
I think the other way around men, gane is a monster and more allround.. Ngannou is more strenght but less athletic, believe me Jon wil absolutely destroy ngannou he bring him to the ground and its over, or Ngannou hits him and its quickly over for Jon hhaha.. really cant wait for him to come back to the ufc
I’m still not sure why Davison got this trilogy. He missed weight, had to have a rematch to win the belt. Came up with a draw in his 1st title defence, then lost the belt. Oh well
@Michael Kane I’m not saying it’s an easy fight for anyone. But the champ rises to the occasion when the lights turn on, no excuses. Not I missed weight, got docked a point, had a bad weight cut, didn’t feel myself yadda yadda yadda. He’s had chance after chance after chance. I’m as confused as askarov must be.
Moreno is my guy but the first fight was a draw, Fig looked very sluggish and not himself the second fight. They definitely need to run it back its not like this is an easy win for Moreno
Ariel's demotion is complete. Interesting that Dana mentioned NGannou's contract at the outset. He's played his hand a little and is softening in advance of negotiations
I agree, Jon jones should watch everything at home with his family till its time for him to fight , and then when Jon's fight come up I think we should do a virtual press conference with jon.... let's protect Jon jones ....👏🤲👐🙌🙏
If Ariel did this interview he would press on their dinner encounter. "But Dana can you elaborate more. What did you order? What did he order? What's his new fight contract look like? Can I announce it tonight?"
I like Brett. He's grown on me with his style. He doesn't talk slow and deliberately, like journalists are taught to. For me it makes him seem like a regular guy asking questions. Just my humble opinion.
I feel like my boy is telling me to pick Francis and figueredeo but my bets already locked In my boy and its opposites of the picks....lmao....I'm confident
Brett must 'polish' the knob well to have a job doing what he's doing. Can't imagine doing this in my job and keeping it - the level of incompetance is inspiring.
Dana's saying they've fight booked until May but Diaz's been calling out Poirier for 6 months now. UFC is clearly not willing to make that fight for whatever reasons.
