I remember from the early breaking bad insider podcasts Bryan saying that it is very easy to spot a lazy actor from a hard working one. That Aaron never said no to him to work on lines, scenes, etc. They spent everyday, every hour not shooting basically honing their characters and i guess that breeds respect and a strong bond/friendship when another actor cares as much as you do about the roles they take on. So this is nice to see the friendship continues after their work on Breaking Bad was done. If no one has checked out but Aaron Paul's work/ executive production, etc on Bojack Horseman is just fantastic.

@Capsized Cloud "I'm now a libertarian" Interesting choice given your lead up story. As someone who has read just about everything the man wrote and most things written about him, starting when I was 14 and paying someone to drive me to libertarian state party conventions, I have no idea how you got the impression Hunter was a libertarian. At least not in the contemporary sense. Contemporary 20th century and beyond libertarians are right wing reactionaries who happen to focus almost entirely on the politics of being able to break whatever particular law their not fond of with absolutely no foundations or responsibility. And most importantly no basis in fact, theory, or reality, unfortunately even if I'm still fond of the sentiment. Regardless they are decidedly extreme right wing capitalist liberals, which is everything Hunter railed against. He was, if not always clearly self described, pretty plainly some flavor of Anarcho-socialist. His left wing anti-capitalist and anti-fascist fervor was explicit in life and pretty obviously prominent throughout his writing. He was a life long supporter of democrats, hated everything the republicans and right wing stand for, and was an unabashed supporter of Che Guevara. So as a fellow Hunter fan and recovered libertarian, my advice is to invest some time learning a bit more about the broad tendency that could be grouped under Anarcho-socialism. That's gonna be the closest descriptor of what will get you started learning some of the political foundations most influential to what Hunter aligned with.

@David P You can’t replace alcohol with meth in that sentence because having a couple beers once in a while is perfectly healthy while any amount of meth risks practically immediate addiction. Why do you feel the need to continuously be obtuse? “Anything that is unhealthy is equally unhealthy” has pretty much been your position through this thread, and that’s an utterly absurd take. If having a few beers is as bad as having meth, then so is eating literally any even remotely unhealthy food.

Rosendo 3 meses atrás
@Pat hello pat, i understand your concern. and im not saying i disagree. im willing to accept it, because i have to. at the end of the day i care about three main things that relate to this video and their company 1) my country 2) my people and 3) my culture. by keeping tradition they arent overfarming and using techniques to speed up the process. in my eyes this takes care of all three worries. them keeping tradition ensures that land doesn't get overfarmed and also means theyre employing locals longer, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY also goes to show us that they dont JUST CARE for profit. and yeah yeah i know "profit" is immoral and inherently capitalist. but most people dont and cant understand that "profit" is TECHNICALLY wrong. i understand you want to bring awareness to the system we live in and why its fcked, and that's a noble cause. however you cant expect someone to understand you if all you do is tell them theyre wrong. just be a little friendlier, comrade. p.s. dont throw out big words like capitalism (theyre trained to get scared whenever someone says the other C word and that just reminds them of it)

@xHawkenx i'm an alcoholic and alcohol has genuinely ruined aspects of my life, but even i can recognize that *most* people can consume alcohol safely. It's *my* problem with will power, not anyone elses. Some people have severe reactions/habituations to cannabis use in any form, should it be banned also? Living somewhere where it is legal, i can tell you the answer is also a definitive no. Prohibition does not work. Fine spirits have been around for hundreds of years and will remain - if they're not for you, avoid them. If friends are struggling, let them know you care about them. Anyways, two actors producing a high end spirit are not polluting the masses the same way mass-scale distilliers who push out cheap swill are at a quarter of the price. Let people enjoy nice things.

@User1990 you could use it in a margarita, but I would recommend you sip it neat first. My favorite go to cocktail was 1 oz of lime juice, 1 oz of pure squeeze mango purée (BevMo) and 2 oz of Dos Hombres. Garnish with a slice of jalapeño. Shaken not stirred.

Do you mix it with anything or do you just drink it straight? Would it make a good margarita?

Never thought they'd partner up again after a falling out like they had in albuquerque. This just proves it's never too late to make amends

That's great for them, but what about us?! I want more Breaking Bad stories lol. Walter didn't necessarily die at the end of it either.
