Exactly! Glad too see it's something original... they got their DNA mixed up now they see in the dark and have hunting skills that best any normal human... that's way more unique then zombies
A modern Argonne forest mixed with some valparaiso and tunnels and modern elements of Flashpoint and Spearhead. Should be an interesting map. Hopefully it plays well.
I hope Portal will be a permanent part of the Battlefield franchise going forward. That's what I really want. Oh, to be able to relive the magic of Gulf Of Oman, Operation Locker, Operation Metro 2014, and others from BF3 and BF4. That would be amazing!

It's the only reason (well that and solo/coop & bot support) my friends and I all returned to this franchise with 2042, after not having played a BF title since waaay back in the old days (when all of those features used to be a staple of the series), so if they remove them for the next one, we definitely dippin' again.
Yes, finally we get a QCB focused map (from the looks of the trailer atleast)! So glad they keep supporting this game. It's not only a hundred times better than it was at launch, it is actually a very fun gaming experience now that i can actually recommend to people. Keep up the good work! 👍

It would be hilarious and a bit brilliant if they explained that the reasons all of these specialists running around looking like each other is because they're clones from a secret cloning project using AI technology to fix the out of place weirdness of specialists. That aside, I see what they're doing with AI, probably chipping the soldiers like in Black Mirror. With the false sky and lab it reminds me of the anime Tengoku Daimakyo.
I havent been interested in Battlefield for years but this trailer did a thing for me! Lets see whats next. Going to take a lot to win me back to the Battlefield franchise though.
You know, as great as the new map looks, I wouldn't mind if we got a more urban map at some point. Something like Seine Crossing, minimal vehicle action, mostly on foot stuff, narrow alleys, winding streets, buildings to fight through. Places where the smaller vehicles can shine instead of being the Wildcat and Ram show.
Now this is what this game was supposed to be from day one. If we can’t get a campaign then at least do little cinematic-Trailers or short movies that expand the world. I love this. Don’t let the game die now

I’ve been really enjoying the hell out of this game. After the bug fixes is when I started playing and even though I take breaks to play other games, I always end up coming back to this.
Playing Battlefield after 15 years i can only said this to Dice " Allways Belive " . Great Work one more time, i hope this only infantry map will bring the OGs back to his home and will make this game even More Battlefield. Lets get ready to the fight.
I will say that although I initially decided that the game wasn’t worth it after getting back on, dice had made a lot of improvements on the game were it’s enjoyable now so I actually am excited for this season.
Looks good keep it going dice. Dont give up on the game and dont rush the release of your next title. Give this game more maps more seasons let the ingame purchase continue to fund this game and win back some fans

This game will not win me back I'm sorry but you are crazy if you think this is what battlefield fans want. I'd rather them have continued supporting battlefront 2 or make a vietnam game instead. This game deserves to die out because they pulled devs from good games already to work on this garbage and basically give up on prior games that did stand a chance. Dice used to be cool but now they are just delusional. Basically ripping off killzone with the cyborg eyes like gtfoh this is so unoriginal.
In terms of lore continuity, I'm kinda hoping they'd explore more about that secret container in Operation Community from BF4, maybe a tie-in event within this season or something.
Looks good. Hope you give portal some love in the future by bringing more classic maps to it. With the shut down of Bad company 1, 2 and battlefield 1943, hope you can bring some of the maps from these games into Portal.
I know naval combat is unlikely but my copium is hoping for naval warfare around the facility since the real life location its set in is completely surrounded by water 🙏🙏 UPDATE : Now that the trailer is live, it looks like they managed to create a super tiny drone vehicle to fit inside this small map instead of adding boats.... sigh
Great trailer as usual. That team always kills it. Seems like we’re only getting one map again even though the season was delayed by almost 2 months? That’s a real tragedy. What happened to this franchise?
BF 2042 is not a bad game. it just never captured my attention like most other BF games did. that bring said i havent played this in weeks and am honestly waiting on the next BF game.
@@AndreasRP. but criterion has joined the team, they will be carrying the games content. so im expecting 2 more seasons.. might be too much to ask but i have faith
