Gordon's dunks may have been the most creative but there's just something different about Vince Carter's dunks, the swag, the crowd reaction, VC's mannerisms, etc. which makes it the best dunk contest performance of all time.

2016 Gordon v Levine was the most competitive, Vince Carter changed an entire generation in a single night, MJ was jaw dropping (at that time), J Rich upped it when everyone thought slam dunk was dead after VC, Mclung brought the competitiveness back after Gordon v Levine. Also notice how none of them used any props for showmanship aside from wearing different jerseys and using other people to help.

Aaron Gordon in my opinion has some of the craziest dunk contest dunks we’ve ever seen. Wild he hasn’t won.

You look at the older dunks compared to 2001+ then can see more athleticism with the players 2001 and above. 50s were given so easily back then compared to the insane dunks now
