little too quick. Most of them would have made it back themselves, and turning them around to drag them out, but not finishing the job properly made it harder for a few of them. Dolphins can't swim backwards.

That was in Arraial do Cabo, Brazil, close to Rio. I remember I had been at that exact beach, named "Prainha", a few weeks earlier. Dazzling view.

I was just going to say the same thing. I'm 5'1 and female and would've jumped in to help them - or at least tried if I couldn't pull their weight. But they were all saved so I suppose that's what matters.

Quite amazing to watch at the beginning. They, the dolphins, seem determined to beach themselves. looks almost if they have been scared, running away from something. I sort of expected to see the fins of some killer whales chasing them.

The dolphins are fishing. They use this technique to corner their fish on land and then slide back to sea with the waves. But this technique can at times get them stranded. But maybe they took a bigger risk by going even further to land knowing there are humans there that will help them back. Clever dolphins haha
Twintwix123456789 10 meses atrás
@Myself X2 Thanks didnt know this, I thought they were sunbathing lol.
Mhairi Anos atrás
Idk whether it was fishing, being chased by orcas or suicide, all are possible. If it was for fishing it's possibly a sign that the numbers of fish are low, which if someone was researching, I'd check that out. Also check water temperatures & conditions of the seas. Things are changing and our Planet is a delicate balance of various Ecosystems. Like all living things, we can only exist if it's under the right/ optimum conditions (homeostasis). It does concern me that not only land, but sea temperatures are rising. It might have nothing to do with climate change, but then again it just might. We need to be more careful as a Human Race. It's not only us, but ALL life on Earth that's under threat. Well done to those who helped, thank the Lord that there's heros out there to save us if we need it ❤🙏

From 1:54 to 2:00, the gentleman with purple shirt is the fastest one. He already knows how to handle the situation and grabs the Dolphin from his tails while others try to lift them from the middle of their bodies. Maybe ha had done this before; nevertheless, credit to all of them for helping these magnificent creatures back to their natural habitat.

Hi all. This is a very beautiful gesture and life saving. Congratulations you all. You dont have much time to go after the appropriate tools in order to safely save all this dolphins. This people have showed great “compation”- love and most important...they acted. Thank you Rico Ocir for pointing that the SeaWorld is just a Fucking prison for innocents for the entertainment of stupid people, I went once and regret, my kids will never step on this kind of bizarre circus. This event happened in Brazil and I believe that the dolphin’s leaders get lost for two reasons; it just happened, bad luck, fatigue call whatever or running way from sharks. The sonar also comes to my head but… I don’t think that’s the case. Oh one more thing, imagine what kind of impression these people made on this criatures, what is gonna be the dolphins thoughts whenever they see a human again, maybe in the beach having fun or even in trouble. You may get a friendly hand. That’s it, sorry for the long text, be good.

I wonder why they headed out to beach themselves, though. It happened so fast...As if something was perturbing them or trying to hunt them. Sometimes rarities won't happen just because... Plus Dolphins are one of the cleverest marine mammals. They wouldn't beach themselves like this because they miscalculated their swimming orbit, would they? Still, ' Glad they were saved.

april 2, 2020 there was even a wild dolphin ( a thumbler, also to find on youtube now) in The Netherlands, followed a ship more day's. He was stranded after even swimming through a lock with the ship, stranded in a lock of Amsterdam. They managed it after the second time to release her to the sea with a boat again, again through the lock. I hope he find his way back to France in a healthy way, where he was coming from. I hope he will survive, our sea water is not so clear and there is a lot of ships sailing there and through the France-UK Canal. A dolphin traveling through the Canal and through a lock, very very rare, especialy in The Netherlands. Why would a dolphin do that in the first place in such busy and dirty waters?
