As a cypher main, we usually just lurk and watch flanks. To rush you use cam to check, and put in smoke then wire. It takes longer, and is a bit more risky, but if successful you already have a set up. Another strat I use for rushing as cypher is to smoke entry points and listen for them. While doing this, you can put a cam right above the smoke to look down into it if you do hear a sound of someone entering the smoke. The final strategy is the passive rush, where you slowly establish presence in a certain place while putting utility above entry points (only applies to doorways and closed tunnels), then they will likely either push or back down, but by having hidden utility there you are given a huge advantage, letting your team push other places and giving you free kills. Cypher doesn’t’ really succeed at rushing, but he can help his team at it by staying behind and gaining inside info.
For Skye you can also use the same tactic on split:B, standing where killjoy was, use your bird to blind site and let your team push, works too for split:A to blind ramps (before the store, at the wooden pallet/box)
To rush with cypher is basically good use of smokes (there are a couple lineups but not as important as other characters) and with Skye you can run while the bird is in the air, so in some places you can bird from afar and explode it when you get near the corners. Love the video!
To rush with Cypher, use cypher cages in Bind A Short and place camera above the teleporter. spot enemies, tag them, set tripwires for post plant (if site under control) or go back and place tripwires for backstab (reccomended to do this before round starts). After plant, get to a safe place and scan site through cam. Easy Peasy
For cypher it is essential to use his cage as a smoke. Like cage and entrance. You can time it if you play him enough. For skye you can rush pop your flash near or where the enemy might peek you it is ideal that they are waiting for you to go out and be sure that you are infront to throw ya flash so you wont flash the team mate. Actually with viper if you use the wall to cover both snowman and nest you can use your orb as a smoke in front of the planter, this way if they decide to push through the smoke to kill the planter they get sprayed at quicker because the viper orb is small and apply decay effect.
For cypher mains on attack, either save your utility for post plant or just make sure your flanks are covered, on A bind its pretty easy if u tripwire A link and bathroom
