find people that actually want to talk to you, I use to think I was bad at texting, I wasn't I was just trying to talk to the wrong people. If someone actually wants to talk to you the conversation flows effortlessly, if someone doesn't want to talk to you it feels like you're pulling teeth.

I am genuinely inspired! I sent it to myself in my phone so i can watch this everyday to try and teach myself 1-10! And i love how she points out what not to do. Because I remember specifically looking up on how to engage better in a conversation and came across the wiki website stating everything she said to forget. 😂 i know for a fact i am a talker and i cannot sit still or pay attention because of my ADHD so i read about this kind of stuff to really help myself instead of reaching out for help and numbing the pain with medication. I know I’ve grown as a better person and i cant wait to apply this lesson to my life. So happy i finally found something more realistic and relatable. I applaud this women!

1. Don't multitask. 2. Don't pontificate. 3. Use open ended questions. 4. Go with the flow. 5. If you don't know, say that you don't know. 6. Don't equate your experience with theirs. 7. Try not to repeat yourself. 8. Stay out of the weeds. 10. Be brief. .

All these tips are important only if you're not a politician and you're not discussing politics. The second category is religion. All this is useless to religious people trying to convert each other.... Politics and religion are out of this world.
